This number shows up in my call history every day. I turn off my cell phone from 11 till 4 and when I turn it back on I see them. They call around 2p.m., never leave a message which irritates me. If someone know who they are please let me know here. I will be checking this thread.

This number calls me many times per day.

They call many times a day (land line) and never leave a message, often calling well into the evening.

This is the American Cancer Society.

Received call from this number today at 1:15PM EST. One of my phones caller ID showed Out of Area, the other showed Unknown Name. I didn't answer it and no message was left on the answering machine.

I got this call tonight.  They left no message.  How does the one person know it's the American Cancer Society?

I just called the number. It is an automated solicitation from the American Cancer Society. If you follow the prompts you can enter your phone number and be taken off of their call list within 30 days.

I get this call at least once a day and no one is ever there...........glad to know I am not alone!

No message, getting a call almost daily

friend receiving a call daily except Sunday.  Friend is a retired person in PA.

I also called the number and received this number to call to speak with a live person
866-435-7227.  The woman said they will remove my friends number from the list.  Good Luck!

Glad I found this site. Yes it IS American Cancer society. I called, got a 'human Number' of 866-435-7227.
called them and reported the problem of no message and dead line. Also told them about this site full of complaints.

Yes this IS the Amercian Cancer Society.
I called it back, machine gave a 'human number' of 866-435-7227. I called that and asked off their list. I also advised them of this website and many complaints of no message when call comes in.

Annoying!  I receive these call at least once a day and now on Sunday.  If this truly is the Cancer Society... shame on them!  Puts a bad taste in your mouth that they bother you so much!  I should not have to call a long distance number to remove my name.  If they are soliciating, please be kind enough to leave a message.  They might be surprised that maybe a donation  would come their way!  I guess I will have to address other charities that are also in need of funds!  Thanks for letting me vent!

Received calls from this number 3 times this week - no answer.  Latest was 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.  Called the 866 number and left message to be removed from their call list.

This annoying.  No messages are left.  Calls several times during month and on Sunday mornings.
