They keep calling.  No message is left.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number several times a day.  No one leaves a message. Remove me from your list

Calls are often in the evening and never include a voice mail message; this is a business number - PLEASE REMOVE!

is there not a thing I can do to stop this daily, sometimes 4 times daily?

Call rings, we pick up they hang up.  BIG NUSANCE!!!!

If it is so important they call, then complete the call.

Bad business ethics.

Got a call today at 8:50 A.M. Caller ID said Atlanta SO GA they have call before.  

Hi, I get this call several time a week no message left. Today when I went to pick up on the 2nd ring at(8:49 A.M) no one was their. I hate these anoying call all day, I work nights and can not shut off my phone for family reasons but they know to only if I am needed.

I called the number to see what it was and got a recording from the American Cancer society.  I don;t know if that is correct but it is frustrating.

OK, I used to work in Telecommunications so I figured I would spend a little time trying to get this resolved.

1.  Yes you need to call 866 435-7227 to have your number removed.  They are a non-profit so they are exempt from the national "do not call list".

2.  A Woman named Julie Boyd is handling this project of trying to find the problem.  She is scheduled to call me back next week to let me know more about what is being done to rectify the problem.

3.  Yes your number gets called because you were probably a donor at one time.  So giving again might increase your chances of getting called again.

4.  I think that if they can't get the problem solved by the end of April, I will try going to one of the TV news shows and ask then to do a report about it, so that the Executives at AM Cancer Society will take this seriously.

THEY CAN CALL LEGALLY, EVEN IF YOU ARE ON THE NATIONAL NO CALL LIST.
THEY ARE A CHARITY, AND ARE NOT GOVERNED BY THAT LIST.
I'M A 14 YEAR CANCER SURVIVOR, AND THIS IS ONE HECK OF A WAY TO RUN A RAILROAD.  YOU WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD GET THE MESSAGE, AND QUIT THIS LOUSY WAY OF  SOLICITING.  
I HATE THOSE DARNED AUTO DIAL CALLS.  

On answering machine "Hello, Hello" and nothing else.

I just received a call from them with no message.  Thanks for identifying the source.  Although being on the "do not call list" does not help, I have put them on my "do not contribute list" forever. Sorry that a good charity will now never receive a donation from me because of there solicitations, but that is my way of responsing.  Hope that others will do the same.

I wish whoever they are they would stop calling.  I am on the Do Not Call List.

Called at 8:20 on a Sat. morning.  Fuming !!!

I reported this number to the FCC because I am on the do-not-call list.  The calls ceased for about a week and now are back.  If this truly is the American Cancer Society it is a shame because I have given to them in the past but now I am reconsidering if they have the funds to make long distance calls all over the country!!!

out of area-  I answered it today, guess what? its the yearly mail out the donation forms to you neighbors for the American Cancer foundation.

Driving me crazy - no one is there or they hang up when the machine kicks on leaving me with minutes of beeping.  I am glad to know it is not a prankster but now am annoyed that the American Cancer Society is doing this.  Guess I am done contributing to them.

these people have called my house twice a day all weekend, hanging up, no message.

Who will take a complaint about this?
