Got ten calls from "California Call" #714-380-5875, two a day for five days, morning and evening.  I never answer unidentified calls but tried to find out who this is.  All I can find out is that it is a phone listed with Verizon out of Santa Ana California.  Calls stopped and now a envelope addressed to a deceased relative came to my house postmarked Santa Ana selling some kind of junk called Cho-Wa in a phony newspaper article from Kumato Labs North America Distribution Center.  Says to call 800-882-0565 ext. 314 to order with a credit card.  Must be where the harrasing calls came from; what a scam!

Finally got Mr. Terry to return a phone call.  Looking for a person with similar name who had not paid bill.  Told him that he had the wrong person--not right age, address, not family member, not correct id numbers.  But would not take any of this information at all.  Very rude.  I think that he also calls on 714-380-5867.  It is an investigative unit who has received bad bills and are seeking anyone who might be frightened into paying bills he or she doesn't owe.

Did some looking on the internet.  The company appears to be run through or by lawyer, Rudy Gaba, from Weltman, Weisburg, and Reis (WWR) in Santa Ana.  They specialize in collecting debts. However, WWR has offices across the US.

Here are some fun facts about Weltman, Weinberg & Reis: http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/weltman_weinberg_reis.htm

And this is a lengthy list of federal lawsuits filed against Weltman, Weinberg & Reis, many of which alleged violations of federal debt collection laws: http://dockets.justia.com/search?query=Weltma ... 1&max-year=2008

I got the same package in the mail this week.  I live in Ontario Canada so this is making it's way around the globe.  I checked out the listed web site www.cho-wa.com and it's a very basic site with some testimonials and ordering options. Wouldn't it be nice if it were a little less spooky and was a true remedy for the ages.

I also received a Cho-Wa booklet address to my mother who passed away this year.  I was trying to figure out how they had her name and my address.  I did put in a change of adddress at the postoffice, but I do not know how Kumato Labs could obtain that information. The return address is Signal Hill, CA.  The number is 1-800-882-0565 EXT 200.  (Same as mentioned in other posts)

I received several calls from this number. The first time I spoke with Greg who was the rudest person I ever spoke with. He called me very rude name, swore at me and also yelled at me on the phone which I do not feel should be a practice of anyone in the line of business saying I owned a BOA fleet card in 2004 which was incorrect as I have never had a credit card with them. I am sending a certified letter to them to discontinue calling me. It sounds much like a scam saying I owe $3500 the first time and now close to $4000 the second time this is just ridiculous. Do not reply to these calls.

Oh yes these people are bottom feeders!!!!! they called my elderly mother and where VERY abusive, saying the police where going to be at her home in 90 min if I didnt call them back!!!   They asked if she had alzheimers because she couldnt understand what they were talking about at one point. I called the number back and got into it with the guy and I hung up on him. A few minutes later of course he calls leaves a threatening message, says my name and says he will make sure that I am of special interest, and say's "so good luck to ya". that I'm messing with the wrong guy. Scumbags

These scum bag scamming booth monkeys also call me non-stop for a person who doesn't live at my house. I told them several times that  i do not know that person and he doesn't live here and they continue to use harsh tactics and are very rude and use the threats of jail and warrants non-stop! The company that calls is WORLD WIDE RECOVERY i talked to the skank receptionist she called herself "Tina White" but before that a Chris Hansworth picked up and handed the phone over. The best advice is to report these con men to the FTC, the BBB, and make a online police report immediately! WORLD WIDE RECOVERY uses the number 1-800-380-5886 beware  know your rights  and let them know that you know your rights when you do that the skank receptionist gets all flustered and jumbles her words funny stuff! lol Good luck and don't take their s$$t.

Started getting calls at work on my day off. They were asking for me but were unsure if I really worked there. Abused co workers using F words. Spoke to my boss and was referred to HR all the while leaving different names and numbers.  A week later I received a call at work from a Gregg Tunis I asked for his address as I have never received anything in the mail.  He put me on hold and another man came on the phone really nasty I told him I would transfer this call to security and hung up.    Next thing my boss came on the sales floor screaming at me.  The man has called the store operator and said he was a 50,000 customer and I was so rude to him he wants me fired asap or he will not shop here.  Right then I get a call for the same man saying I took care of you.  It is World wide Recovery from CA . They have said they were the police, theats to serve me, and serve my job.   I checked they have 199 current lawsuits as of today.

Have received calls from this number & various others from the same area code over the past week.  different people leaving messages but always rude, nasty & threatening.

Today there were 2 messages one "regarding my Colorado property" and the other regarding "my florida property".  Funny thing is, I don't own any property in either of those states!  Has to be a total con, I will be contacting FTC, BBB and any other agency that will listen on Monday...

Is it possible that we all have something in common, and that is why the Cho-Wa mailing came in such mysterious way to each of us. Maybe someone is trying to get us together and taking a risk to accomplish that purpose. I know it sounds melodramatic.

Let me ask an odd question. Has any one of you been targeted for government harassment, also known as organized, gang or group stalking? (You can google those terms if they are unfamiliar)

If it does apply, love to hear from you.
