I answered, after a delay of several seconds there was a kind of tone and then an automated voice said "goodbye", and they hung up.

Got the same call, But one(1) up on you folks, I got FOUR (4) from the same person the same day. That right FOUR (4) call the same day. I ask him didn't he know anyone else, if I hung up on him the last two time what make him think I would listen the third and then the fourth time but then I just  wanted to keep him on the phone as long as I could maybe spare someone from the call.

Just got the call. This time from a woman, otherwise same as prior reports. My windows computer is sending out bad stuff. Ironically, I, being a MAC person, I do not have a Windows computer. Knowing the caller Id number was likely fake, I asked for a number to call them back before I told them anything else. They hung up.

Scam call from asian man who couldn't hardly speak english. He kept trying to make me feel dumb for not listening to him and act like there was an emergency.

Same thick accent, same spiel. Asked for me. I asked who was calling. He proceeded to call me by my name. I said "Wait a minute. I'm not Mrs. @#% and if I was I wouldn't give you any information because you're a scam. He was like "no, no,no" and I was like "Say goodbye, au revoir, adios, hasta la vista, blah, blah." His mouth was still going when I hung up. Please. Make these calls go away.

Just got a call from this number. He told me that my computer was sending messages . He was very hard to understand and I told him so and that I needed to talk to someone else. He told me I needed to turn my computer on and get in front of it and then he tried to give me directions on what to do. I told him I thought he was full of sh-- and for him to give me a phone number and I would call his company ( sounded like he was trying to say Microsoft) He gave me this number 813048369232 - which is too many numbers, I then asked his name and he said a first name(couldn't understand) but the last name was Jordan. I gave him such a hard time, he hung up on me!

Just got a call from same guy, windows has a serious problem.  I told him take me off your list and he called back, at which time I told him to f^&% off and hung up.  He called back a third time and said "why you want me to f&*^ off.  Seriously dude.

can someone please shut this guy down?? seriously. he called us at home twice today, the second time he started swearing at me when I asked him to please stop calling us.

Trying to tell me my computer is sending out signals when I ask my name they gave me a Mary and a address of 2001 couldn't understand the street but he was very much Not from the USA.

These have to be THE most stupid scammers in history! They have been calling my number regularly changing numbers but not the pitch. Their M.O. is to keep calling the same set of  numbers with, as I said, the same pitch; a Windows crash on my computer. How can these geniuses fool anyone after already contacting people and being rejected? When reported to AT&T, they were as helpful as a painful hemorrhoid.  On my last call from the "Geniuses At Large", I told the girl, (usually a guy named "Patrick") to stay on the line while I activated a GPS tracking system so that I could locate them and send them some "help". Funny how fast she hung up and denied me my opportunity to mess with them even further. Next time, I'll offer to send them some steaks; beef steaks.

Just got a call at 7:40pm, couldn't understand him.  He said he was from Windows and my computer was sending errors and had a virus.  Told him my computer was fine and to never call back... I will have to think of some clever is he calls back!  Should I report this to someone?

This is a common scam. I simply ignore and block these telemaggoters.

Got a call from 716-200-4864. Male with asian accent asked if I was the owner of the Windows computer at my location.  I asked "Which computer"  His response: "The Windows computer".  I thanked him for calling and ordered him not to call again.

Told him I would call him back. Gave me 760-933-1530 just FYI

Landline call. Caller ID: Buffalo, NY  Did not answer and no message left.  A really good sign of a scam. I see from this site that it is the old "computer problem" call. They really just want your credit card number or control your computer too.

Rock on.  I was not as nice to them.

Same results. Called them back. No connection.

Just got the same call - dead air and then it disconnected.  Dead air when I called back!

Guy is trying to get you to ultimately make a connection via Log Me In or similar service, to manipulate your computer and access personal information.   Got call from same number.   This is a scam and someone should shut him down!

Caller said she was from Windows regarding my computer getting spam.  Heavy foreign accent!
