Just got a call from this number.  Said my AT&T account gas been suspended.  Press one to verify or press 7 to speak to a representative.

My phone was off and this number was listed as a missed call. I Googled and found this site. I'm on the DNC list and I blocked the number on my cell. I am not an AT&T customer nor a customer of any other big corp thieves. I've been with Tracfone for years.

My work phone was off.  The missed call from 10:26 pm was routed to voicemail, stating that "your account has been suspended."  I checked this site, blocked the number, and reported it to the DNC.

Picked up the phone to dial, but there was no dial tone. So I hung up, tried again; still no dial tone, Hung up for 10 seconds and tried again. Then a lady with heavy Indian accent is saying hello, hello. Then she said she was with AT&T and goes into a sales spiel. Ask her three times what I could do for her, she finally said I need Direct TV. Told her I was not interested and to take me off their call list. Given above responses, it was very suspicious; had two calls this morning, one from Virgin Islands and the other from Ontario.

Called our land line (yeah, we still have one of those) 12-26-18 at 12:40 p.m., NO MESSAGE WAS LEFT. Thus we may only assume it was a criminal calling.

This number called me and I didn't answer so she left a Voice message" Hi this is Gina from AT&T and I wanted to make sure your phone is working. If you are having issues with your phone please call your local provider, thank you again for being their customer have a great rest of your day" the issue i have with this is I don't have AT&T and never have so I am not sure how they got my number seems pretty sketchy to me.

I snoozed the call as I was doing something else and do not ordinarily answer unknown callers. I have a Verizon phone (AT&T was just cable at some point).
I got to this page from Googling the number and my bill doesn't show a charge me yet but will monitor. I do get texts and calls often from different numbers offering school loan relief (never had such loan) and no amount of complaints to the FTC (I'm on all possible call lists) have been able to stop them.
I will monitor what happens. As a former Fraud Specialist I can tell you that companies do process chargebacks against merchants with bogus charges.
The spammers usually reply to a chargeback with screenprints of how the charge came to be (origination email or phone number, etc). Do not accept these charges to be removed as a "courtesy" unless you receive assurances there will be a formal request to terminate the subscription (meaning the charge is disputed and reported fraudulent) as it be more difficult to remove it in the future; and make sure you must review your bills thereafter since they may stop for a while but may try again later because have your number is on file. Billings for more than 3 months are debatable because service contracts require to report billing errors within 30-60 days.
If the fraudster also stole your phone possibly also has your email address so press your carrier for proof of the IP address where the transaction originated. Likely will not match your city/state. Change the email as well and your passwords if it was compromised.

The call was fraudulent but there was no appropriate option hence selected valid.

Total scam. Caller pretended to be AT&T and got snippy and rude when I asked questions.

I received a text from AT&T sending me a temporary pin to use to log into my messages. Message said call this number ASAP if I didn’t request a new pin. Sounded suspicious to me.

"Rick" calling from a boiler room.  Said my at&t connection was too slow and at&t wanted to send me $200.  I said, great, get the check in the mail!   He then said, but first I need you to get in front of your computer.  I told him it was broke down and to be sure to get the check in the mail.  By this time Rick realized I was stalling him so he couldn't call anyone else and he hung up.

Called 3:08PM 11/22/18. On my blocked list, but left a message. Message was "Customer you're account has been suspended for a verification. To reactiviate your account press 1. To get transferred over to a representative press 2."

repeated calls from 800 331-0500   blocked number  phishing scam

 This number belongs to AT&T Wireless located in the Evansville, Indiana region. I have been harassed by someone who claims to be AT&T for quite a while. This person sends FRAUDULENT AT&T letters stating that there are issues with my accounts & I am to call another Toll Free number which the other number is not for my local region either. Someone is also trying to mess with government assistance programs also. I have began receiving calls from 800-331-0500 before the letters started coming in the mail. The letters appear legitimate!  Each Service Provider is assigned to regions & the customer service numbers are for that particular service region! There would not be any legitimate calls from customer service/tech support that is out of your own particular Service Region! As an example: AT&T in San Jose, California is not gonna bother people in Dallas, Texas! It's possible that your current phone number could have been assigned to an AT&T customer before the number was assigned to you! Contact your own current Service Provider! Report these calls and/or mailings to AT&T Corporate Global Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas  210-821-4105 & send report to Email: abuse@att.net. Hope this helps!

I got a call from 800 331-0500 claiming something a my internet I told them that I will be calling Att myself to verify this telephone number.

WOW! 52 pages of yet ANOTHER B$ # to block on 5/2/19. 1st time we got THIS 1. We got rid of ATT years ago as their service was horrible. We were out of TV Phone & net nearly 3 DAYS. No apolgy & NO refunds so we dropped them real fast.

Seemed like nobody there when I answered.  After a moment ~I heard a bell or a ding and a voice said  "Good Bye"  ???  Bring on the FCC!!

Received message from 1-800-331-0500 stating Verizon has cancelled my service.
