Called us twice on our landline today, once at 10am, then again around 1pm. Both times they never left a message, weve blocked it.

Called my home phone, not answered, no message left.  Suspect scam call. I don't have Dish TV.

i just got a call from that number, i didn't answer it but it shows up on the caller id as Dish TV!

I received a phone call from 1800-333-3474 about my direct tv receiver telling me it is out dated and that I will have to update it if I want to keep my Signal. All I have to do is pay $174.99 and they can do the update on the phone. I called direct TV. I was told not that they are not up dating boxes. should anyone get a call please report it Direct TV.

Call supposedly from Dish Network. Loud call center, heavy Indian accent. Telling me I had Dish Network service, correct? I said no, incorrect. Told him to take me off his call list. He cursed at me, I hung up.

Called my landline this afternoon. No message left. Blocked the number.

I don't doubt the number is authentic.  The problem is the company seems to be quite aggressive, rude, annoyingly persistent and highly unethical.  I've added them to my call block app along with the many other obnoxious callers that attempt to scam me or sell me something.

That person posted here in 2011 and will never see your post.  I would also classify it as a huge lie.  What normal person looks up a phone number when they know who called?  Scammers do come here to make you think that this call is authentic.

Just received a call from this number with Toll Free Number listed as its "origin" on Caller ID.

I believe scammers are spoofing Dish's phone number. Identified as Steve Jackson from Direct TV. From his accent  he clearly was calling from someplace like India. Later in the conversation he said he was from Dish TV and that the software on my receiver needed to be upgraded. As I kept asking questions he said he was going to cancel my service. I don't have Dish TV. He eventually hung up on me. He couldn't keep straight whether he was talking about Dish or Direct.
