Credit Card Scam.  Telemarketers from India trying to steal my credit card and personal information.  BEWARE:  Identity theft ring..

I just called the number back, it is Discover.. First off I do not have a Discover card and I told the woman I spoke to.. Who also spoke PERFECT English.. She asked for my social and I told her I would rather not due to scams.. She understood completely.. The woman I spoke to did till me they are aware of that their number is being spoofed and yes the number calling is a scam.. she requested not giving out  any information, especially if you are discover card user... the number showing on caller id IS Discover but these scammers are spoofing it..

Caller ID said Out of area 1-800-347-2683 at 4:39pm. Answered call, but didn't say hello. Immediately went into a fast busy.

Fraud call asking for my account number. This number is a legit DISCOVER card number, but the fraudsters are spoofing it.

Yea olde and moldy "this is the final call to lower your credit card interest rate..." criminal scam.  And a robocaller, too.

call to my computer-line phone from  800-347-2683 caller ID said "TOLL FREE" on Monday 04-24-17 at 150 PM

call was from a male hindi/india SCAMMER from card member services trying to steal my credit card information.
He starts asking "how are you doing?" and I responded asking him how he likes being a criminal SCAMMER & I added
a few expletives to boot. He hung up.

As another poster mentioned, card member services SCAMMERS are SPOOFING the legitimate Discover Card
phone number on the caller ID.

If it was stated to be from Discover then it was a scam.  I do not have a Discover card.

Scammer/Telemarketer still pushing the old lower your credit card interest rate scam. CID showed "TOLL FREE CALL" and "1-800-347-2683". The number is spoofed, it's the legitimate customer service number for Discover Card.

Discover called wanting me to verify my credit card number and PIN.  Gave them the information along with my social security number, e-mail address bank account number and passwords.  Call only took about 3 minutes.

It's Discover?!  But I don't have an account with them!

call came in on 4/28/17 @ 12:07 PM regarding  Discover Card lower interest rate. I don't have a Discover Card, I hung up.

Don't have Discover or any credit card at all so this definitely was a PHISHING attempt! Always call them instead.

You have been scammed! (Phishing). Call and get your card cancelled and reissued!!!!

"Stu Nod" ... Donuts, spelled backward?  How can we believe you on this? Sounds like you're a target waiting for another telemarketer's arrow.

I answered a call from this number. I told the guy I didn't have a credit card. He asked me why I called, and called me a moron and told me to [***]-off before hanging up. I laughed a little bit. It is a real number for Discover Card but I guess they are using a CID spoof.

Stu Nod is the scammer people trying to legitimize this call.
Just block the number and be done.

Be Safe & BLOCK all card services calls.

You say its fake, well its been all over the news, so who knows at this point! Can't believe nothing these days I guess! Oh My, not good!
