- nildaSIX unwanted/ not requested/ not signed for charges stemming from taking a discount on PROFLOWERS! CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD statements if you ordered from ProFlowers!
- $14.95????Just noticed a charge on my credit card for $14.95. I haven't ordered anything from ProFlowers since June. I googled the 800 # listed and found this. Thanks to all of you who have helped answer my questions re: this mysterious charge. I just wanted to send flowers for a funeral and I agreed to the charges for THAT order and nothing else. Nothing indicated that I was signing up for some membership. How frustrating!
- ErikI don't recall signing up for this service either. Unfortunately I haven't looked at my credit card bill very closely for the past few months. Fortunately my credit card company called and informed me of this charge, but it appears I have been charged $14.95 a month since at least January. The service that you sign up for is called EZ Savers. I disputed the charges, and they only gave back six months worth (since they probably know the credit card company can only dispute that amount).
I will not ever use EZ Savers, and I probably will never buy flowers from Pro Flowers again. - StingedI also was signed up for easy saver rewards. Now I know that it was done through Pro Flowers. Because I sure did not sign up. Easy saver is a rip off and so is pro flowers.!

- tony37_us replies to Bob421This is actually a scam from the company. You never get a confirmation email as they say they will send you and they charge you but you really get no discount. I really don't think that all the people here are dumb as you say Mr. BOB421. How much are you getting off this scam Mr. BOB421?

- muffin07My credit card company called to verify some "strange activity" on my account. They gave me this number 800-355-1837 to call and cancel whatever I signed up for. Just like all of you, I ordered flowers from Pro flowers for Mother's Day and have been getting charged every month since. Unfortyunately, I don't get a paper statement and therefore I don't check it often to see what is on it.I will from now on.

- NOWAYI was able to have $999.99 return to my account today. Same thing, I order flowers for my wifes birthday. My wife thought it was one of my online games. I thought it was something that she orders. This company, needs to be wipe from the face of the earth.

- DeerippedoffOMG, I am embarrassed to say that Easy Saver has been taking $14.95 from my account for over a year. I have since lost my job and with their recent charge to my acct there was an overdraft charge. I'm college educated but I have deductions for Netflix, Audible and I thought it was their charge. The first person I talked to said she could only give me $79.70. I said 'not good enough. You will refund the entire year and I'll be nice and not have you pay the overdraft charge to my account.' I threatened to call the Federal Trade Commission and said I've done it before (which I won with bogus charges from a wireless phone company). They transferred me to Janice in Financial Services and she tried to give me less $$. I said I will take no less than the full year of around roughly $180.00. She had to consult someone and came back on the line and said she will debit my bank card and it should be back in my acct within 7 days. I had placed an order from ProFlowers re: a death of a loved one. She said that I authorized the payment by entering my email address. I said "that was BS!" So I will wait and see since I finished the call by stating I will call the FTC if it is not refunded to my account by the 7th day. I'll be back to comment in 8 days if I don't receive the refund I'm owned. Very much a scam . . . and you have to be forceful and determined without taking no and get all the $$ owed to you. Grrr....

- DeerippedoffIronically enough after I posted my message--below my submitted post there is an advisement for PROFLOWERS and offering 15% off. Incredible!
- Caller: EasySaver/ProFlowers sucks
- RUKiddingDitto: Thought it was a recurring cell phone charge, Googled the phone number, found the scam. First person I talked to offered 89.70. Next in line offered one year (179.40), but slap my a-- and call me Sally, this still leaves us with over $100 lost. Now a higher-up will be calling to discuss the balance within 48 business hours. In the mean time, I'll be looking up an FTC contact number. Double Grrr!

- So upsetToday I realized that we had been ripped off by EZ savers since April 2009. That is over 299.00 of unauthorized charges. I called and was offered 89 refund. I am not stopping. I called Oriental Trading because that is where I was hooked they say. No help from Oriental but I won't stop until I get it all back. I did not authorize EZ saver to use my credit card number or address.
- RobA guy was trying to scam my wife over email. He sent her flowers from ProFlowers.
On my way out to the Internet to find ProFlowers and warn them about this charge, I ran across a lot of complaints. I instead of contacting ProFlowers, I decided to write this message.
I suspect ProFlowers didn't get paid for delivery. What goes around comes around.
Rob - Andy Chicago| 1 replyI had the $14.95 charge this month; I called the number on my bank statement; they asked me to confirm my info; they recited my e-mail address that I cancelled nearly 4 years ago. Since the time I cancelled that e-mail, I have never received a charge. I purchased flowers under another e-mail account, which I suspect led to the charge, but why would they say it was from the e-mail account that I have not used in nearly 4 years?
- Beci C replies to Link| 1 replyJust going through my credit card stmnts. I have not used my credit cards in such a long time. BUT.. found that monthly charges of $14.95 have been charged to my credit card from EZ Saver. Went into their website to see they are affiliated with pro flowers and sharies berries. what a scam ! I would never agree to sign up for a 'monthly' cost of $14.95 to be able to SAVE money... spend money to save money ? makes no sense. I will be contacting stupid ezsaver and capital one for a full refund !
- A Consumer replies to patPat, you are right. These companies' only business is to rip people off. Just like some car dealerships like Joe Myers. All they do is scam, deceive unsuspecting consumers. Every body in there from the least to all the managers/executives. They operate a cult like environment with agenda to rip off consumers.
In general, what I do when making purchases with possibility of scheduled withdrawals is to generate a new set of credit card numbers with a very close expiration date sometimes to expire the very next week. I did same for XM radio & a gym membership. In that way I do not have to be calling them to cancel nothing because once my card expires they cant get money no more. It is called Safe Purchase numbers or something like that. Now the companies call me but I dont answer. - A Consumer replies to Beci CIt is best to generate new set of credit card numbers with near expiration dates to use when making purchases. In that way the information you gave them expires before make spurious withdrawals from your account.
- Lisa replies to Bob421then why is it there are so many sites listing complaints about Ezsaver along with class action law suits against your company?
