    Pissed in PA,
I also ordered from Proflowers in Feb and after my purchase an offer popped up for a $10 discount coupon on my next purchase. Like you I clicked on the coupon and it took me to the EZ saver site. I wasn't interested so I dropped off the internet. I didn't have a clue what the CC charges were until the EZ saver attendant advised me that I had joined EZ saver when I bought flowers from Proflowers. Today I spoke to someone in customer service again. They agreed to cancel my membership again and refund all my money this time but to make sure things go as promised I also contacted my CC.  My CC will be dealing with the problem. The flowers I bought were great so I'm really shocked that Proflowers would allow this "Scam" to be linked to them.   Pissed in GA.

Another EZ Scam victim here..I purchased a gift for my mother on Mother's day and never signed up for any monthly program.  I have a charge of $14.95 on my bank statement and not sure if I will be able to get it back.  This is definitely a scam and Proflowers should be held accountable.  I will never purchase anything from Proflowers again.
I tried the number below, but got no answer; I really need to get this monthly payment stopped.  Oh, one more thing...What are we getting for $14.95 per month??  Just a thought!!

We too have been taken by this scam and it is true that if you fall for the discount on the next purchase, which you might think is just good business for pro-flowers to get returning customers (and NOT A FREE LUNCH as some have indicated), even if you then select NO or just click out of the site, it WILL BE CHARGED!!!!  You should not only CXL the crappy "mbrship" with the company but call to report the fraud to your credit card company.  I am shocked that Proflowers continues to permit this type of scam....

After ordering flowers 14 months ago from proflowers my wife got scammed into this EZ-saver crap. I just called them to cancel and get my money back and at first the rep was trying to say how it was legit but once i said i wanted a refund she said she was only authorized to give me 2 months worth not 14. I then asked her for the company address so that I could join/start a class action lawsuit. As soon as i said those words she said if i wished to speak to her manager who could authorize more credit i was more then welcome to. After being on hold for a minute or so she came back and said she spoke to her manager and her manager gave her the go ahead to credit me back all 14 months, 2 in check form and the remaining 12 back to the debit card. So i have to wait 7-10 days to see the credit on the bank statement, wish me luck. For those of you out there having this same problem I recommend threatening them with a class action lawsuit, Clark Howard, Better Business Bureau, Mike and Mike on ESPN, Hannity, Kelley Gates and Mark and Brian (I believe the last few are radio personalities that advertise proflowers). Good luck to you all I'll post my hopefully positive final results.

I am on hold right now with Pro-Flowers.  I finally noticed this re-occuring $14.95 charge on my credit card, and contacted Pro-Flowers after finding this website. I called PF and after only saying a few words they knew exactly why I was calling.  The PF rep said, very nicely I might add, that she will put me on hold and get my money refunded to my credit card.

This is stealing, why is it being allowed to continue!?!?  If someone walks into a store and steal some clothing or if a dollar is stolen from a bank the guilty party would be arrested.  Why is no one doing anything about this?

The easiest and most secure way to get these charges taken care of, and prevent future instances of this company charging your account is to call your bank/credit card company and tell them about the unauthorized charges.  They will reverse them for you and also put a fraud alert on that company so they cannot make anymore unauthorized charges or withdrawls.  I did this and it worked.

    SORRY BUT BOB IS CORRECT!
It does state in the terms and conditions that you were signing up for a membership program.  I have seen this same offer on other websites as well.

THE TODAY SHOW EVEN DID A NEWS PIECE ABOUT IT IN AUG 08, based on viewer complaints.  When they researched the websites provided - they found all sites had FULL DISCLOSURE and determined that the CONSUMER did not read them.

I believe this is case of MAKING A CHOICE NOT to read the Terms and Conditions, not that anyone cannot read.

Some credit card companies also send out checks for $8 - $9 dollars that if you cash them, you are signing up for a membership program.  IT STATES CLEARLY IN THE MAILING that cashing the check is your Authorization to enroll in trial membership and if you do not cancel your credit card will be charged.  I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT because I shred these checks regularly.

If you do not believe us  - just go back to the site and read the terms and conditions.

Its not people cannot read - its they make a CHOICE not to read the info provided.

NO I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM!

I work in a corporate education dept and see this time and again..
NO ONE READS THE INFORMATION WE PROVIDE TO THEM -like prerequisite requirements, class hours, time zones the late cancel fees and the link to the list of local hotels.

In some cases students have completely missed a virtual class because they ASSUMED the class hours were for thier time zone, because they did not bother to read the Eastern Time indicated in their confirmation letters.

One customer screamed at me one time insisting we did not put the location address in the confirmation letter.  I had to walk him through the letter line by line until he finally SAW the address all by itself in the middle of the letter.

By the way its the same thing with the free trial offers for the bogus weight loss products like Acai Berry etc..

PROFLOWERS denies any association with EZSAVER---liars. They are in collusion and should be prosecuted and disallowed from accessing any consumer payment processing system as they prove time and time again that they pursue an ongoing campaign of fraudulently stealing money from innocent consumers.

Make all complaints and report to all. Tell family and friends. These people are garbage and need and will be stopped.

I too had unauthorized monthly charges of $14.95 - and I never authorized them - I never sign up for ANYTHING like this - EVER!  Fortunately, it was easy to cancel by calling their number that appears on the credit card billing and entering the ID # they had somehow assigned me. The leeches! The number I called was 800-262-6199. They did provide a cancellation #, which I appreciate.

Bob is not correct...I ordered over the phone, did not authorize this program verbally, yet still was charged.  This actually means they shared my credit card number with a 3rd party without my consent.  Your defense leads me to believe you are somehow connected.
