I keep getting calls from this number and they don't leave a message. None which is the worst part. I don't owe anyone anything either and it pisses me off the fact that I just got a new phone and this just started happening. I get a call everyday and the same thing NO voicemail left.

I get calls on my home phone from you name it companys, I only got the phone about 8 months ago because it was cheaper to get a bundle package, I don't use the phone or pass out the number so when it rings I have lots of fun when it is an 888-800-etc number, I answer the phone but don't say hello, lay the phone down on the desk and listen to them go crazy saying HELLO+HELLO. Eventually they give up and stop calling, I guess until the file is passed on to the next jerk. My husband says Im a nut, but it gives me a laugh and it cost them. If anyone calls on my cell phone I just set the ringer to no ring, then Im not bothered.

We've been getting calls from this number and when I answer it asks for a person that does live here (automated) it then says if you are not this person, then hang up. So I did. On this past Sunday 10/31 they called and I decided to write the persons name down they were looking for and call them back. They WERE CLOSED! ? ! ? Anyways, they called twice today but I missed the first call, so I called them back on the second one. When the man answered I explained I was calling from a number that needed to be removed from their lists as its a wrong number. He asked me for a CMI reference number. I said no, I don't have one, that's what I am calling to tell you. The person you are looking for doesn't live here. Well I need a reference number he says. I DON"T HAVE ONE. Oh well, give me your phone number. OK so I give him the number and he verifies the woman's name and I said yes that's the name. He then says...and what is your relation to her? WTF....do you NOT SPEAK ENGLISH????? SHE DOESN'T LIVE HERE. I DON"T KNOW HER....DO NOT CALL BACK!

I don't know whom this is or what they want.  The caller ID just says Customer Service, and when I answer, it's just dead air.  I have never heard an automated message, nor have I spoken with an actual person.  It's just dead air.

No message; second time I've received this call on this new phone.  Maybe it's Homeland Security or the NSA trying to track these "trackless" phones?  Who knows.  Isn't that often that it's a problem -- yet!  And I'm not hiding from anyone.

calls from this number on our recently-activated cell phone every other day around 8 or 9 a.m ... guess we're more fortunate than a lot of people who've posted on this site, since they only come at the frequency I mentioned.

As soon as I posted in this forum -- after our accustomed every-other-morning call --  that the calls on our cell were not as frequent as most the posters had been receiving, there came a vibrating sound from the kitchen and the direction of the cell!  Dang!  yes, two calls so far this a.m. from 800-377-7789!!!

they called my number as well looking for someone who doesn't live here and I want to know how they get by with this. They have no right to call for people whom they don't have the correct number I have had my number for almost 13 yrs. And the person they are calling for are my neighbors with whom don't even know my number there should be a way to STOP this nonsense.

I completely agree with you.  We had nothing but problems from the start with Time Warner after they took over Comcast in my area.  The FIRST bill I ever recieved from them was a $300 bill for "late fees".  How could it be late on the very first month?!  I had to call every month to get the bill adjusted.  They just couldn't seem to get it straight.  Never had a problem with Comcast's billing.  Now, a year later, I'm still getting calls from Time Warner saying I owe money, yet I don't.  They are awful.  not to mention the stupid techs who come to your house and say "please don't call again in the next 30 days if the problem persists because I'll get in trouble for not fixing it right".  Ummmmm.........

They are a debt collection company who is trying to collect on a debt that has NEVER been verified.  I go through this periodically.  I ask for proof of debt, there is none so no more calls.  Then 6 months later a new company calls, I ask for verification of debt, that's the last I hear from that company.  Now I've gotten one call (so far) and I'll have to go through this again, and again, and again.

They keep calling, but won't leave a message.

These a$$wipes call me all the time. I did in fact have Time Warner, but switched to Verizon Fios. I returned all the equipment and paid the final bill. I have proof that I owe them nothing and they still continue to call me. WTF!

They called asking for my grandmother. I hung up before they said anything.

Have had a cell phone for less than 2 weeks and this number keeps calling me asking for another person. They leave a call back number, but I won't call it. Just yeatreday I got 10 calls from them within 24 hours. One came in at 7:45 this (Sunday) morning.
