- Lil PistolI received a call. The man (in his broken English) told me they had received a one line letter from us asking to cancel our service. I told him no such thing ever happened. He then told me "ok we will leave your account as it is"......I find this very odd. My Direct TV is billed thru my verizon acct as a bundle.

- iodineI had to break off with Centurylink in the 'package deal' because they used Direct TV as a reason to double bill me for the service. I have been fighting that for 4 years. The phone company even cancelled my long distance service and refuses to give me customer service due to their mistake. (Because I kept after them, even to the point that one representative sent an email to her supervisor saying I was 'at it again' and mistakenly sent it to me as well......this number is from Direct TV who overcharges customers among other things and have a lock on service....many others do not service the same area. Nice company hun?

- ChrisAfter six months of unresolved billing issues and faulty equipment that wasn't addressed even with a Protection Policy I'm finally at a point of allowing them do disconnect my service and counteract their non-service stand in litigation, if necessary. Don't know about you but my gripes include being billed for an NFL package I didn't order or authorize, two faulty receivers that their technical "supervisor" said were not covered under the protection policy, etc., etc.
Looking forward to dragging these guys out of the dark to expose their underhanded tactics and customer service people that don't know how to resolve issues and if they did are not empowered to do so. - KerrySTOP CALLING! It's 11am and just got the 5th call from them since 8:01am. GRRRRR.

- AJ| 1 replythey called me twice today and left one voicemail which was a guy talking extremely fast in what i believe was spanish.. i do not speak spanish, nor have i ever had direct tv.. i dont know for sure that the call is from DTV because i understood none of the message that was left, but everyone else posting has said its DTV.. i've had my phone number for several years now.. and my voicemail says who i am (in english) so i have no idea.

- Gaines replies to AJYou know you can sue these guys, right? The penalties for telemarketers who don’t follow the rules can be pretty serious. My brother is an attorney who works for a law firm who is pursuing lawsuits against telemarketers. I’ll be happy to put you in touch if you want to explore doing something about this nonsense.
