    I was getting calls at least 5 times a week and when I answered they told me to call this number. I have asked to be on the dnc list but no luck. for those in the same spot here is what I have found. Lets put this to an end.

    Filing a Do-Not-Call Complaint

    In addition to complaints alleging violations of the national do-not-call list, you may also file a complaint against a telemarketer who is calling for a commercial purpose (e.g., not charitable organizations) IF:

    The telemarketer calls before 8 AM or after 9 PM; OR
    The telemarketer leaves a message, but fails to leave a phone number that you can call to sign up for their company specific do-not-call list; OR
    You receive a telemarketing call from a company that you have previously requested not call you; OR
    The telemarketing firm fails to identify itself; OR
    You receive a pre-recorded commercial message from someone with whom you do not have an established business relationship and to whom you have not given permission to call you.

    How to File a Complaint

    You can file a complaint by e-mail (fccinfo@fcc.gov), telephone 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY, by fax to 1-866-418-0232, via our electronic complaint form at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm, or mail. For the FCC to process your complaint you must either fill in the electronic form completely or otherwise indicate:

    your name and address;
    the home phone number where you received the solicitation;
    identification of the individual or company whose products or services were being advertised or sold, and any phone numbers included in the call;
    a description of the call;
    any phone number provided to allow you to “opt-out” of future calls;
    whether you or anyone else in your household gave the caller express prior permission to call;
    whether you have an EBR with the caller (specifically, whether you or anyone else in your household made any purchases of property, goods, or services from the company that called, or made any inquiry or filed an application with the company prior to receiving the call).

    I'm so glad I googled this phone number!  I got a very legit-looking letter, supposedly from National Union Fire Insurance Company regarding some accident insurance I supposedly had signed up for. I kept thinking "I don't remember signing up for this", but at the same time, we have been looking into various life insurance options, so I wasn't sure if I might have requested info from them. I have an account with Wells Fargo, and they listed is as being an insurance policy offered as a benefit for WF members. Something just didn't seem right (I'm not a wiz at insurance policies or underwriting, but there just seemed to be something missing).
    I'm sure this is a way for them to get your bank account number (I'm sure if you call and give them the "customer number" listed in the letter (which is tied to your name and address), then all they need is your account number and they'll be able to drain your account.
    Beware of these scammers!!

    They charged my account, I didn't get asked if I accepted the charge, I didn't give them my account number, I looked at my bank account and there was a charge for $24.90..... How did they get my account my info? It bothers me that these folks can actually get away with such things.

    Call the toll-free number thats suppose to come information of the insurance program. Wells Fargo and Nation Union are in contract with each other for different types of insurances. Now they are not suppose to charge you until the 60 day review is over with if you agree to review it. But call the 1-800-572-5848 number to cancel. If you are already being charge you might have to get a hold of Wells Fargo. With these insurances if you are unhappy with them you can cancel at anytime. So if you are randomly being charge it should be no big deal to cancel for being charged.

    I can't believe all this. This also happened to me and I contacted Wellsfargo, they said they will issue a stop payment and report the fraudulent charges. We'll see, I guess we're going to have to close this account.

    csr in hell
    I work as a csr for this company..it is 100 percent fraud basically they call u whether u say yes or no they give u the policy or u get a letter saying if u don't respond u will automatically be enrolled and charged for the policy..I handle about 50 calls a day from people saying they never authorized this insurance. Usually they are calling because they saw a charge on their account with our phone number. I feel bad for these people that their banks are giving their information to a company who does this. I have worked for three months as a retention and csr agent ..trying to make someone keep a policy that also doesn't ever like to pay out is hard. I see claims denied all the time for no reason.I have done this 3 months too long and am happy I put my notice in tomorrow to leave the job. I can't believe the scams company's pull to make money.. I am happy I am finally able to get away from working on this account.

    When u call the number on ur bank statement that's who I work for and we get paid commission to make u people keep these policies so that's why we say review it before u decide to cancel blah blah blah and make it sound so amazing. Usually u won't get the copy we send and when u call we try to make u keep it again.and sometimes if u ask to cancel we don't just to hit out percentages and not get fired. It is [***] to admit but when u have a family and bills ull do what u need to. Its a job. Some policies do pay out well and are worth it but 90 percent of them are complete [***] and there are an insane amount of reasons why they dexclusions.

    Briggette your bank in this case being WF has already provided us all of your account numbers before our telemarketers even call you. so we never even ask for that info. we only verify your dob and address. But other than that you are correct about everything else.

    Victim of HUF FPP
    This is a pure scam. I was told that if I see a doctor, I can get a claim for $100 on every visit. I called the 800-572-5848 number and they transfered me to a claims department. I requested them to start a claim as I have seen a doctor. Unfortunately the clowns don't have a way to email or download the claim forms so I was asked to wait till I receive the claim forms. The forms never came in and I only had 20 day within which I could file a claim. I complained but now it has to be the next doctor's visit that would be covered. There are ways to scam money but WellFargo has come up with these scammerto steal our hard earned money. Get a job or rob a bank but don't rob me. This world is filled with scammers but I cannot believe WellFargo is helping them too.
    Stay away from these clowns.
