    just a customer service rep
I work at a cal center and was hired to do customer service for NUFIC i was unsure of what it even was until after training and getting on the floor and taking calls. i have mixed feelings about the company. I talk to some people that have policys from 1999 and they receive 100 a month for doctors visits.
most of my customers are extreamly happy with their policys. on the other hand i have customer who know nothing about their policys and take it out on me. i wanna just clear one thing up when u calll to cancel please dont be mean the the rep u talk to  because we did not sign u up or take ur money the company or sales agent did. the customer service reps like me can not even make out going calls. yes we do try to talk to into keeping the policy because it is our jobs. my grandmother has 3 policys her self offered to her through one of the marketing partners..
i think finger hut and she loves her policys she can file claims on all 3 policys and she gets 300 bucks every 3 months just for going to her doctor. but i have talked to a few people who claims they never "agreed" to the policy but after proof of enrollment is taken out they always seem to be wrong about not agreeing. my advice would be please just realize that when u agree to receive the free gas voucher and or the 30 day review period that u are vocally agreeing to have the policy and being enrolled.being enrolled means after the 30 or 60 days that you are agreeing to have the money taken from your account. that information is given to the company from the marketing partner. IE: wells fargo, bank of america, finger hut, chase, juniper and many many more.  thats my understanding of how u become enrolled. also please again the customer service reps do not sign u up or know what happened on the sales call so please do not take your anger out on us we are just trying to help you and do our job. 1/2 the people i work with does not agree with the way the enrollment is but we need our jobs.also we do have to verify your address just to ensure we are talking with the person that is on the policy. we also ask for you DOB and Phone number. you can refuse us that information. however if u refuse to verify your address then we can not open the policy and help you out. and if you have you spouse or someone else call we will not be able to cancel it we have to speak directly to the primary insured. its a pain i know but thats just nufics policy for employees. i talk to people everyday that i wish i could refund all their money back. and have litterally gotten off of the phone with tears in my eyes after listening to peoples storys but again we as customer service reps can not do anything about the overdraft fees or the amount of the premium comming out.  if you take this the wrong way i am sorry. i am not defending the company just trying to explain what we are told as reps.. hope it helps some what when you get a sells call.

I just been through the same thing I talked to a really mean supervisor names Jimmy Johnson and his represenative. They have been taking out $26.50 from my WF acct since Sep 2011 I had no idea I am writting them a letter to the main co. based out of FL. You all should do the same I am sure that I will not get this money back but its worth a shot they are evil people that care nothing about us hardworking people only to get their pockets bigger. Let this be a lesson learned. I did not receive any packets in the mail for info I was a fool to not call back to not look carefully over my statements but I will never make this mistake again.

You are wasting your time and the time of everyone that reads your non-applicable "advice". The Federal DNC list specifically exempts those companies with which you have transacted business in the past 18 months. At the same time, when you opened an account with your bank, you gave them the authority to share your information with their affiliates and certain 3rd party vendors with which they are associated.

The people calling to sell you this insurance are doing so because your bank provided them with the information to do so. That's how they know your banking info, age, name, address, and other personal information in the first place.

Contrary to what you believe, the bank has the authority to contact you because of your ongoing business relationship. By the same token, the insurance company has the right to contact you because YOU AUTHORIZED IT when you signed your banking agreement. And if you end up purchasing insurance from these yahoos, then you create an ongoing business relationship with THEM that then gives them even MORE of a right to contact you.

The bottom line is that, in some form or fashion, you authorized all of this and they aren't violating any FCC rules. Your complaint merely bogs down the system so that legitimate complaints aren't handled in a timely manner. It's neither the FCC, the bank, or the insurance companies fault that you didn't read what you were signing. Take some responsibility for God's sake.

If you want genuinely applicable advice, cancel the insurance, change banks, and notify both parties (in writing) that you do not wish to be contacted any further. And next time read what you are signing.

I saw this thing on my Wife's Wells Fargo Account over a year ago. I told her and she never called to see what it was. She didn't call. This Month I noticed it again. We didn't authorize an withdrawal from our Account but there it was. I figure we are out Over $700. We are going down and close out our Well Fargo Account. They should have been aware of this SCAM from the start.

I have been helping my dad with his bills and noticed this charge from NUFF IPP INS.  I found charges for 19.90 as far back as 2006. So I called the 800 number and Jessica said she would send me records of everything and refund my dad the 1200 dollars they have taken over the years. 7-10 business days is what she Sid it will take. So well see.

Like most people here, I got a similar phone call but the number is 304-461-1166. They tried to enroll me into some insurance program. I hesitated at first but then stupidly agreed anyway because I thought I can just cancel it before April 15. After got off the phone, I immediately went online to research and found this site. I don't remember what the company name is or the phone number they give me because i thought they will mail them to me. So now I'm worrying that if the mail doesn't even come then I can't do anything about it before my WF bank account gets charged. Can anyone help me if they know any information about this number or insurance? I tried to reverse call but the automated voice just says that they will call me back later for the promotion. I need to get their customer service number so that I can tell them to put a stop to it before I get charged.

US Bank Customer replies to telewink
I recieved the packet and reviewed it, promptly lost It before I could cancel the policy...I found this site and contacted NUFIC and verified my name and zip code...he had everything else as he pulled up my account.   He explained the plan and if it is legidimate I'll make out ok.  Based on my doctor visits/hospital visits a year.   I'll make 50$/doctor visit 4/year... and 4 visits to hospital ER for usual things like pnemonia and such at 250$/visit...If i'm actually checked in for longer that 24 hours it's like 500/day for max of 30 days....I usually go to urgicare instead of my family doc as it's more convienient.  (THATS A HOSPITAL ER).
at 19.14 a month.  Hmm 1200$ cash to me for 240$ paid and that's assuming I won't get injured this year and need actual hospitilization.
I contacted a few sources on the internet and they say this is an actual company with health policies...They have a bad rep for how they sign you up in some cases, but as far as the actual policy they pay out.
I'll be probably going at least once this month to either..so we'll see pretty quick if they payout!
and I'll post here if I get the check!  :)

Call this number  1-800-572-5848 for the NUFIC Customer Service during business hours.  He will ask you your name and zip code...he can then look you up...he usually has a phone number and all your other information...you can ask him to verify these items...he virified my phone number and other info...I had agreed to this insurance when they called and lost the packet they sent...I had read it though and it sounds legit....It pays very well too if you see your doctor 4/year thats 50$ each...Go to ER 250$/visit for 4/year...and if you are hospitilized 250$/day for up to 30 days.  Even in a normal year I end up at the ER at least twice and 4/doctor visits....so I'll make money off this plan...I'm only paying out 19.14/month.  Fake a heart problem....you'll at least get an over weekend stay at the hospital while they test you for everything....I'll know when the first check arrives after a doctor visit...they send you a claim form which you have to staple your discharge or bill to.  (I have State medical so don't pay anything...)    so it's all cash for me!

The same happened to my brother that is impaired cognitively.  He was charged $29.95/month for 15 months and I didn't catch it until it put his account into the negative and he was assessed multiple overdraft fees.
This is a company that prays on the mentally impaired and is absolutely disgusting.
The gentleman I spoke with wanted nothing more than to get off the phone with me and would not let me speak with anyone "in charge" he just gave me a cancellation number and said something about mailing information out.
When asked how they got permission or even my brother's account information, they told me that someone through a telemarketing called agreed to this, which is completely false, since I am his legal guardian and the only one that can authorize this and my brother is not mentally able to even provide this information.
NUF IPP INS 866 914-6148 is a complete scam that preys on the most vulnerable in our society.  I can not understand based on how old some of these posts are that they are still functioning and doing this fraud.
