- Heavy SighFielding these calls for months for relative that is incapacitated and in assisted living. They call four or five times a day. They do not leave a message. It is definitely Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. When I try to call back, I get a recording and get put on hold. I have passed the number along to his attorney, I am tired of dealing with their non stop phone calls and their lack of a response.

- Dave| 1 replyCalled, left no message. I do business with Wells Fargo, but I don't have a mortgage with them. I also have never given them my cell number, so.... Not sure what to think in this big SCAM vs LEGIT argument that's going on.

Its simple really, if you have an account of any kind with Wells Fargo, then call from an Official published number you know is theirs and find out if they called you or not. If the call sounds unusual or doesn't seem to apply to you, then it most likely is not the real Bank calling.Quote:Not sure what to think in this big SCAM vs LEGIT argument that's going on.
Scammers often spoof a Bank's number(s) to try fooling unsuspecting victims into thinking it is the real Wells Fargo calling. Most of the time they simply "blanket call" entire areas with the same message and "phish" for a victim to answer.
This number happens to be Wells Fargo Loan Modification number. - MiriamSomeone called to say there’s fraud on iCloud and my account has been blocked from someone trying to break into my account.

- AdminThis number has called me multiple times a day for the last week and a half on my direct line at work, a number I have never given out. They have left automated messages only when they call after office hours. These messages state they are Wells Fargo calling in regards to my account and to call them back. Our IT department has blocked the number, and Wells Fargo has found ways of getting around the block to still call my number. They are still working on remedying the problem.
This is definitely a scam, as our company does not hold any of our assets with Wells Fargo. I also personally have never had an account with them. It is beyond annoying that they continue to call, despite being blocked and despite us/me having had no business relations with them in the past.- Caller: Wells Fargo

- ColleenI only see missed calls from this number when I am late in my mortgage payments. I usually go pay it online and they stop. I believe it’s a real number but there’s no reason to call it back. Just pay your bills.
