you people need to lay off debt collectors. it isn't their fault you don't live up to your obligations. you borrowed money, you had fun spending it, now pay it back. to me, it is the debtors, not the collectors, that should be ashamed of themselves.  i'm on here because i forgot to send a payment and wondered who was calling me.  i'm embarrassed that i'm late, as should all of you whiny [***] that blame the collector.  you don't get a free ride in this life.  i'm sure the collector doesn't love their job, but they understand that any job is necessary to survive, pay their bills, and not sit around bitching about it.  i applaud them, and would do it myself if i needed to.  better than living off the government, borrowing money from creditors, and not paying it back.  freeloading [***].

you didn't seem to have any moral obligation to spending that "dirty" money.  just another typical freeloader who won't ever have anything good in this life because you don't take responsibility for your actions.  any job is a good job; better than living on welfare.

Sorry to burst your bubble there 'Tommy'. I don't owe a single penny to anyone, for anything. The only debt I maintain is for business and tax purposes. Of course, I don't expect you to understand that any debt can be advantageous. You're just a low-life debt collector and the only thing you'd know about taxes is how to fill out a 1040 and wait for your refund check.
So 'Tommy', do you actually think the people here are looking for a 'free ride'? They are not. The vast majority of people here have been victimized by sleazy debt collectors. Debt collectors who are incapable of getting honest work. Scum who have felony records and/or substance abuse problems. Dirt-bags who convince themselves that sitting all day on their fat, lazy behinds trying to con people out of money is a real job. Debt collectors who lie about what they do because they know what they are. Losers.
You see 'Tommy', I know debt collectors. I've been in court rooms with more than a few. As a Plaintiff, not as a Defendant. It's always easy to spot a debt collector in a court room. The only ones there looking slimier than they are are their half-drunk Attys. And if their Attys. are only half-drunk it means it's still morning and the counselors haven't drank there lunch yet.
Before you start mentally composing your reply 'Tommy', know this. I've never taken a pay-day loan. I've never even given it a thought. Like most people I have problems, but money is not one of them. I've never been sued and I can honestly say that there is not a soul on this planet who would be able to conceive of a reason why I would be. But I have been forced to legally pursue frauds who have been foolish enough to think that the people they prey upon are just as worthless as they are. The one shining asset that most debt collectors share is there incredible arrogance and there equally impressive stupidity. Debt collectors employ people who are even dumber than they are. That includes their Attys. Which is why the only times you'll see debt collectors in court is when they've been served. Or arrested.
You want to applaud debt collectors 'Tommy'? Then spin your chair around and give all your fellow vermin in the boiler-room a big hand. Then try and get all their real names and phone numbers. You're sitting on a gold mine there 'Tommy'! Debt collectors are by far the biggest dead-beats in existence. Not that you'll ever collect a dime from them. If they had anything (or any pride) they wouldn't be debt collectors.
But you are right 'Tommy'. There is no free ride. Debt collectors know this very well. They're always slinking around looking for bus fare.

you know debt collectors? well i'm not one. i'm a diagnostic medical sonographer in los angeles, NOT a debt collector. i am not a low-life. i have a very successful spouse, and we have two homes, and two luxury cars- one that cost over $100,000. why are you people so paranoid that everyone standing up for a debt collector is secretly a debt collector posing as somebody else. you have issues. i'm leaving this conversation now, because i have to go to work, at the HOSPITAL. you can troll around these pages, attacking people or whatever you need to do to make yourself feel relevant. i stumbled upon this page trying to figure out who was calling me, and discovered a snake pit of people who are avoiding their debts. how did you end up here? it doesn't matter anyway. your deranged mind has your own version of the truth and whats right and wrong. you have an out of control hatred for debt collectors, which means you probably have been delinquent before. good luck with your life. i have a feeling that you probably need it.

So you are a wealthy LA songrapher with a $100,000 car and you don't even know that I is capitalized. I would think some sort of education is required for that position. From the looks of your posting Gunnar described your stupidity very well and you lived up to that description. No doubts that debt collection was the only job you were qualified for.

I have been getting these calls for the last couple of days - several times a day.  If they are HSBC, they have been bought out by Capital One.  It does not matter if they are crooks, you are still obligated to pay the debt unless the court says you do not have to pay it.  If you don't pay it, they will come after you to try and collect.

This number keeps calling me 2-3x/day. It started a day after my bank called a said they had a data compromise. This number has a voicemail which asks for my new debit card number. I reported this to the bank of course, and tried to cancel to receive 1-800 calls but it has not worked yet.

I was looking through this site and I noticed awhile ago that Tommy, with the big house and $100,000.00 car kept coming back here and beheading people.  He asked someone why they were trolling this site, if they didn't owe any back payments.  I just want to know why Tommy kept coming back to troll this site?  Tommy, get a real life and enjoy your nice car ... (probably an old Gremlin or Pacer)
