- FredAfter a zillian calls I decided to call them back. Dialed the number 800-733-1116, hit 1 for english, then * several times until I got a live person. Gave them my name and phone number and asked them to take me off their call list. The representative told me that another person had used my phone number on their Sears card application. We will see if the calls ever stop.........

- Ron KumarWhen I answered the phone they would ask me if I was who I was, my answer was who is calling and they would not tell me who they were. I told them that since they called and refused to tell me who they were they could take a hike and not to call this number again. That did not stop the calls, finally had to retain an attorney and told them to call the attorney, it finally stopped!!!!

- mary60 replies to Melissa| 2 repliesJust block their phone#. That's what I did just a few minutes ago. That does it. Verizon blocks it for 3 months at a time.
- mary60 replies to Totally irritated| 1 replyThey will use a different phone# to call you when you've blocked the previous one so you have to continue blocking them all.
- aNNIE replies to GennyDefunuiely Sears debt collection
- MikeI get this about 10-15 times per day and I was told not to answer the phone. Today I decided that I wasn't going to be bothered so I answered it hoping I could tell them to take my name off the list but they asked for someone who has been deceased since 2004. If this is from Sears collection, they have nothing to collect. The name of the sears account has been transferred to another person who was on the card and the account is paid on time every month so I don't know why they were calling.
I asked who they were and what they wanted with her and the guy said that it was a personal phone call but I refused to allow them to talk to her because... well hello? Anyway, he wouldn't tell me what it was about so I hung up on him. That number has called 3 more times since and I've just ignored it. I'm about to block that number, that is if I can figure out how with AT&T lol. - Get a life! They call and never leave a message! I answer and they don't say or do anything! So, go get a life!
- DI had to do the research. It IS a valid number but they were calling looking for my mother-in-law. She spends all day thinking up ways to piss me off! Open a card...check...list daughter-in-law's phone number...check...buy [***] with the card....check...don't pay the bill....check...harrassing calls to daughter in law...CHECK

- ryCalls at least five time daily, pickup no one answers
- Caller: sears
- EdBy having a listed number I save money. I therefore NEVER answer my phone unless I hear a voice leaving a message (which the announcement on my answering machine asks for) I receive almost all my business and personal calls on my cell phone. My phone has been ringing several times a day and the caller always hangs up without leaving a message. Today, I dialed *69 to find out who the last caller was. I wrote it down, went on-line and entered it in the Google search engine. I had no idea I was joining such a vast group of people! The other messages posted here mention Sears and Citi-Corp. I will now contact Sears by internet and try to get these calls stopped.
