    Blast from the Past
They've been calling daily for awhile, and finally a human was on the phone when I answered (I knew I didn't have a Citi or a Sears card -- I'm debt-free outside of my mortgage -- so I've been ignoring the calls).  Turns out they're trying to reach an ex-sister-in-law of mine.  I've been divorced from her older brother for.. holy cow, 15 years?  Good grief.  Last time I saw the young lady in question she was a minor.  She's never even lived in the STATE I currently reside in, let alone my house, EVER.  This is freaking ridiculous.

This number has called me 13 times in one week.  I do not own a sears card nor have I ever owned a sears card.  We have told the people this every time they call.  They ask for a man each time whom I have never heard of.

    I want my peace back!
These people call my number continuously throughout the day and evening starting at 8 a.m.  When I pick up, nobody answers.  Is there no law that requires a picked up robocall be answered by a representative?

We do not do any sort of business at Sears.  I have never had credit with or through Sears.   And this foolishness has me convinced never, ever to do business with that company in the future.

This number called today and didn't leave any message for 52 seconds. Analysis of the recording shows there may have been subliminal messaging in the background. We don't even have a freaking Sears account.

they are calling looking for my mother in law. she has an unlisted number but mine is listed. They won't tell me what company they are calling from, but, want me to put my elderly mother in law who is hard of hearing on the phone with them. I told them if they do not identify the company they are calling from that I would hang up on them, they said the can't identify what company it was, so I hung up on them.

We are on a no call list but we get these calls all the time, we have excellent credit but if your name appears to even know someone even 15 years ago they call you as they cannot find them? How hard are they trying when these people are on Facebook??? Not only that they will not tell us what or who they are.....
So I guess the do not call list is worthless!!!!

Received a call from 800 733-1116 on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 08:57 am. This call is considered as unwarranted and unwelcome. The caller ID indicated Unknown as the caller but it looks like it has come from a debt collection agency, probably Sears or Citibank, of which I do not owe any money to or desire their credit card.

Do Not Call lists are for Sale Calls only. It will not stop the creditors whom you owe from calling.  If is not you they are looking for tell them. Doing nothing only continues their calls.

The number is not a scam. It is Citi fwho bought out sears credit they handle all sears home depot and lots of other credit cards. If you look on the back of you credit cards and/or the statement it will show you the financial institution that handles the financing.
