    pissed off dad
They keep calling my 12 year old daughters trac phone we bought for her for emergencies. I called them from MY phone (unlimited minutes) and told them to take her number off their list. # TIMES I DID THIS within 10 minutes. The 1st time I was very polite, second time I was more annoyed, 3rd time I was angry and let them have it. They wanted her name, hell no I was not giving my 12 year old's name out to a collections agency. As of now, my daughter is keeping track of how many calls they are doing today. I will notify Sears if this persists.

I returned the phone call this morning, as I have been receiving multiple calls from this number.  I do not have a Sears card (or Citi Bank card).  The woman on the other end asked for my name, which I did give.  She asked for the last 4 digits of my social for ID purposes, she said.  I replied that I didn't have a Sears card, so I'm sure that I have never given her my social.  She responded that she had an account under my name and phone number.  So, I gave her the last 4 digits (silly me).  Then, she asked for my birthdate.  I repeated that I did not have a Sears card and could she please tell me what she was calling about before I continued to give her private information.  She said that she would take my number out of the system, and then she hung up on me.

I had to recall again last night because the 3 women that I contacted earlier yesterday (different all 3) said they would take my daughters number off their list. Finally, I got to talk to some guy last night after the 5th call. He asked for my account number, I told him my 12 year old daughter does not have an account, he asked for my social, I said "listen, you are calling my 12 year old daughters emergency phone, she is 12, she does not have an account with you. Who's name do you have associated with this number?" He gave me some name with last name of Jackson, I told him that is not our last name and to take our number off his list. I then asked him if I received any more calls from them who I would contact for legal matters, he said I will not be hearing from them again. I said I better not or I will contact corporate about it. So far today, not 1 call. I suggest asking who's name is on the account if they ask for your social or ANY information, if the name is different, give them YOUR last name and nothing more and tell them to quit bothering you.

We got calls from them every day for 2-3 weeks. They said our number could not be taken off of their list and so they got an air horn blown into their ear. They finally gave up since they could not reach the account holder.  Debt collectors do not seem to realize how ANNOYING the calls are, especially after you tell them to delete your number. It's harassment after that.

I do not have a citi bank Sears Credit Card and would appreciate it if the Toll Free Cable people would quite calling me.
They continue to call every day. Either when we answer the phone they don't say anything or I get a recording telling me to wait and then after I wait they come on and tell me they can't talk right now and will call back at another time.
I DONT WONT THEM TO CALL BACK AT ALL. NO MORE.
I AM TIRED OF THEM CALLING AT ALL.
PLEASE GET THEM TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST.

Sears General 1-800-917-7700 re: Collections 1-800-733-1116... To stop annoying calls you need to immediately ask for a manager and you can expect to be disconnected at least once.

Tell Sears you will contact their local police in Columbus OH to report annoying calls... 614-645-4545, or the local police in Sioux Falls.... 605-367-7212

ATT states you cannot block long distance calls, but they gave a number to report annoying calls... 800 348 8727

I have had this number call 10 times in two days. When I finally ask what they want, they ask for someone "who does not live here." They eeven left a message to call them back about a Sears acct or Citi Bank which I do not have. I told them there is no such person, and my son on another call told them the same and he got mad at them and they told him they would take our number off the list. I finally got the call again and got mad at them and I tried to find out what this is all about. I ask them what they are selling and they said they are not selling. I son was mad and hollering in the back ground. They talk broken English.I finally called them back. They wanted my credit card number. Finally I talked to English Person and I told them about all the phone calls I had. They tried to apolize and admitted they are Sears billing. I told them how I had Sears credit card but it was cancelled for no activity on the card. They could see I had Sears Card but it was closed. So they tried to say"I would NOT get anymore calls again. So they are calling for a person who does not exist here. It is bad enough when you owe someone let alone when this person does not exist here. I hope now I can say"CASE CLOSED.

I have received 4 phone calls from them between 12/20/12 and 12/26/12
Today I picked up the phone and all you could hear was... nothing. They hung up, the auto dialer that is.
According to the listings here it's Sears Collections. I had a Sears account 3 years ago, but owe nothing; it's a closed, paid-in full account.

It is just so annoying ! Thankfully I have VOIP Service with Phonepower, which allows me to block up to (I believe) 50 phone numbers.... and that is what I will be doing !

This number is allegedly "Citibank for Sears Credit Services." When I called back to explain that I don't have a Sears account, I was immediately told that I would not be held liable, then found out that a person with a name not quite the same as mine was the account-holder, and that this collection service does "internet searches" to find phone numbers to track down the deadbeats. They called my home three times in one day, knowing that they were probably not calling the correct party. Hard to believe this is actually a Citibank operation. If you call back, don't give them any info they don't already have (i.e., the phone number they called you on and your name).
