800-754-0961

I too only received the last part of the VM. Not once did they state the company name.  By reading the earlier notes this has been going on since 2008 and this is 2022 and could be for Verizon.

I have been getting daily calls from this number 800-754-0961. Leaves a message stating to give reference number when calling and it's my phone number. But the number they call from is 248-260-2215. I call THAT number and Verizon says it can't be completed. I won't call the other number left in my voicemail

All, got a call from same 800 754 0961. Called my house phone ad referred to my cell number. I do not answer my house phone ever sonthey are leaving voicemails.  These people must have hacked Verizon information as I used to have them but it has been years so know it is a scam.

Lots of phishing going on! My banking info was hacked a few days ago to the point where money was transferred from my savings to my checking! Scary!

I have received this message from "Verizon" several times with missing information and referring to my landline instead of the cell phone number.

First and last mistake: I switched carriers months ago. Asked me what my account number is(was).

Wow, I am totally stunned this number is still getting away with this. Or I should say trying to get away with their scam with the same number after all these years. You would think since they are impersonating Verizon that they would be able to end this. I could see how a private citizen would have a difficult time but not a such a huge company impersonating them.
I finally looked this number up along with so many more as I get, (no exaggeration) on average 40 calls on landline, 20-30 on cell.  This number calls everyday, sometimes 2,3 times and have been for a while. I’m blocking #’s after I make sure it’s not a legit #. But sometimes I get so incredibly frustrated I’ll turn the talk on and leave it!
This fraudulent caller(s) who say they are Verizon needs to be stopped. I’m getting this same number calling every day as all of you and today is April 25, 2023!!! I feel your aggrevation! Good luck!

Four calls this week from 585.421.7077 on home phone....voice mails state they are Verizon Financial Services.  Call back # is 800.754.0961, reference # is my home phone #.  My home phone is voice over internet, optimum, and our cells are AT&T.

The caller said to call them back this morning at 8:00 AM and use my phone number for reference.  Did not cause I have paid my bill already for this July month.  I will be calling Verizon today and they also sent in my email a small balance which the which when I call in to check with Verizon on the automated account said zero balance so this is a scam.

They are getting smarter! I DON'T have Verizon, i continue to receive calls/voicemails referencing my  cell phone number (that is not Verison).     The phone number is a local number, but when i call back, i cannot leave a message.

How does any of that mean "They are getting smarter!"?

I have received 6 calls from a different number saying to call them back at the 800# we all are referring about.  The account number is my cell phone number from a completely on another service provider. Which is a brand new and private number. So how they referenced that number has me stumped.  My parents and my son only have my private number and they know NOT to give it out.
