Why do I find their posting name so... appropriate?

When I first went on the internet I found a webpage for 3 blondes.  They used to post all the blonde jokes that they heard along with lots of other stuff.

Definitely a scam - but maybe growing in sophistication.

Called it back today after receiving similar "Verizon Wireless Account" message for a number I don't own.  It went straight to automated answering system directing me to dial *611.

I called Verizon directly and they don't have any record of the phone number that was referenced on the message.

Received a call from 248-260-2215 which is local for me.  Message only said to call back at 800-754-0961 using my cell phone number as the reference number but did not state what the purpose or company name.  I won't be calling back.

I have received several messages from this number. The messages they leave start in the middle of a sentence,  so it doesn't say who it is from.
I am not calling them back!

I am sick and tired of Verizon. Calling me. I don’t have them as a carrier anymore. I switched to Spectrum mobile because the bill was too high and still is.

They called me from a local area code and directed me to call back the same 800 # as  well. I believe the number they called from was spoofed and that they do this tactic with every # they call to trick people into thinking they are getting a local call. This scam seems to have been going on since 2007. smh
