I got a similar call... I could barely understand this "Susan Smith" and she never really answered any of my questions and was urgent that I answer hers and complete my application by charging me a fee. Stay away. This has got to be a scam.

Same scenario as many above : thick accented gentleman leaves VM calling from Hollywood CA, but because I couldn't make out anything he was saying, I thought SCAM and hung up.  Two days later Im checking messages, and realize I recognized Explore Talent as a website I visited over a year and half ago, but didn't remember posting a picture or signing a memebership.   I am not interested in modeling but I was looking for background work, so I became intrigued when I heard him say my profile matched perfectly with what his producers were looking for in an upcoming Blockbuster movie. Call 866- 611- 8672 and ask for OSCAR WILLIAMS, the creative director for modeling work.  I rolled my eyes, but I wanted to see if it was a legit agency so I called...twice...but not surprisingly, after 2 rings the phone suddenly disconnects.  It was Saturday, but even still, I felt that if they were legit they would've had at least a VM, but to be fair on Monday I called again. This time someone picked up but he didn't say Explore Talent so I hung up...Reading all these complaints I see I haven't missed anything but I do feel bad for all the kids who have been ripped off thinking their gonna get a break in the business.

I just received a call from 1 800 888 0999 but didn't get to answer it. The "Creative Director" named Christina left me a voicemail saying "Hi. This is Christina Creative Director from Explore Talent. I recently matched you up with a lot of casting auditions in your area ready for you to attend please give me a call back at 1(800) 888-0999 extension 3116. Thank you. Have a nice day." It sounded shady so I googled it and found this site. It's not the same #, but same "Creative Director" bullcrap from Explore Talent.

I got a call day before yesterday from Oscar Williams, "Senior Creative Director" at Explore Talent.com. He said that the picture I had uploaded that morning was a perfect match for an audition being held near where I live. I was getting bad cell reception at the time, and told him my mother would call back when she got home. She called back the NEXT DAY and he told her something about a Kristin Bell movie, and everything was going fine until he said that there would be like a $200 activation fee for my account before they could go any further with the process, and she told him about how I pay for all my own stuff, and that she would discuss it with me. When she said this he was extremely pressuring of her to call him back before 6, and he was like "the role may already be gone by then, so get back to me asap!" and kept pressuring her like that. So, she told me (as an experienced adult) that she was not comfortable, and felt like it was just a scam because of the high-pressure sales, and such, and that she didn't feel like I should do it. Reluctantly, I agreed, and told her I'd tell him no. This morning he called, and I missed it, then called back, and told him I was financially unable to do it (which is very true!), and he STILL kept pressuring me to find any possible way to come up with it, so I said I'd try to see what I could come up with and call back in 15 minutes. I called back, having scrounged up $40, and then he KEPT pressuring me to come up with more and more, and finally I just had to flat out decline, and he hung up quite disgruntled. YET, even as he was hanging up he said I had 2 hours to come up with the money... WOW TALK ABOUT PRESSURE?!?!?!?! My mother and I are both very sure this is a scam, and we hope that this will help yall in the future who are trying to decide for yourselves...
God Bless You All, and may He grant you wisdom and guidance in yall's career decisions(:

P.S. the call was not actually from 800-763-8517, it was from 1-866-611-8672, if that helps any of you know who to be cautious of.
