got a phone call from 507-4... thank goodness i don't answer misc numbers.

rex anthony- creative director from hollywood, CA. said they came across my explore talent pg (which i don't use and have repeatedly tried to cancel).
left msg saying there were important auditions in my area and to immediately call them back.

Let me start by saying I googled the # b4 I called & saw all of this. So armed with that ammo, I called them and pretended 2 b interested.  These idiots called my daughter & she told them that I would call.  When I called the #, 800-763-8517 X5552 Michael, I was placed on hold & the person that came on the line sounded like the same person who put me on hold.  He then trns me to his Creative Director for more information. Of course, he kept telling me my daughter is 18 to which I told him I dont care she doesnt make decisions without me.  He ran his "sell" & when I asked for information to be faxed over so our attorney could review it, he froze then said everything done online. Most of the time, he just kept saying "well she 18" like he was doing me a favor talking to me!  What jerks, idiots to try to take advantage of young people & their dreams when all they want is to scam you for $$$$.  If they call again, I will not be as nice!!

we just got a call (voice mail) from a person named rose saying she pulled my file and that she was athe talent director for model expo.this really caught my attention because i did walk the runway for "THE MODEL EXPO".she said something about acting too. so of course before i called back i checked the number out here. THANKS YOU GUYS!!!! I'm not calling her back

I just received a call from this number too and I wasn't sure about it, so I google the # and found this posts. He said he was a director from California and that they saw my profile online, and they liked it. (BULL [***]) Thanks a lot bro!

i got the same scam call today but i had one a few months ago as well because i told them i wasnt interested. I decided to get on the internet and look them up and sure enough they were. the guys name was brian williams and he had an Australian accent.

A lady with an indian accent just called me right now,,, and the funny part was that she said that her name was sherley peterson.  I received the phone call from 5045 number and then she said Im a really talented person as she can see on exploretalent.com.  Then she added, please can you call me back.  I asked her why.??? she said coz i can barely hear you (which makes no sense).  This was her info 18007638517 -ext:5002 - sherley peterson ...

They called me too! But I've made over $8,000 in just a few months. Idk about all u other people but i'm sooo happy. I did commercials for L'oreal, Max Factor, and Baskin Robbins. Um, u kinda have to put in work too u know. It wont just fall on ur lap. I spent some money for my profile and it was not much at all. Then I got a real good and affordable photographer to do my shoots. U have to sacrafice a little to get somewhere now-a-days. In just about a month they called me for my 1st audition and it was for L'oreal. Come on guys, my 1st time with them and it was L'oreal. They do take care of u. Stop trying to crap on people when u dont know what the heck ur talking about. STOP BEING IGNORANT. They are really nice people :)

He JUST called me! Gave me the same name and number. But I immediately felt weird about it bc he sounded like he was in a call center bc yuo can hear all the background noise. I told him he would have to deal with my agent, then he gave me the same number and ext. and said to have my agent call him. He asked weird questions about my experience in the industry. What should I do?

OMG!!!  I received a call from a Derrik Jones--thick accent, who then transferred me to Rex Anthony--thick accent at 800-763-8517 ext: 5597. When I informed Mr. Anthony that it would be foolish of me to supply my bank card information over the phone because he could be posing as ANYONE, he went into full-throttle reminding me that I posted my profile with Explore Talent, that they were responding, and he KEPT trying to convince me that he was legit, had lots of money--didn't need mine, that BIG people in Hollywood were interested in my profile/picture, and that he was only trying to help me for a fee of $70.00 to set up a website in my name and 100 business cards with my picture, blah, blah, blah.....  

I asked for his address and he gave the following: 8033 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood CA 90046.  

My gut instincts told me to research EVERYTHING, and I'm glad I did! I'm not going any further than reading and responding here. I can only imagine what would happen if I had divulged my banking information!!!

Received call today around 1:30pm--EST, from a Derrik Jones who then transferred me to Rex Anthony--both had thick accents---hard to understand.

The return number they listed was 800-763-8517, Rex ext: 5597.  I just phoned the number 7:08pm-EST, and a gentleman with an accent answered Explore Talent. Still, after reading all of the postings, something just doesn't set right with me.

So, Samantha, do you work for these scammers? Are you posting bogus messages to help line their pockets?  If so, how sad.  And it's not just Samantha, there are a few more who "report" that Explore Talent has worked for them.

Caller was Carolene or Caroline Jones from Explore-Explode Talent. Wanted me to call back regarding my profile for auditions/music/modeling/acting job.  I never submitted a profile to this company.  She stated she was the "Creative Director" at extension 5588.  Out of curiosity, I checked here...The people that endorse this company must think the rest of us are stupid.  Just look at the spelling and grammer in their notes.  No one with an education would respond in defense of their company in such a crude manner.

yeah! i got his call. i think i received it a couple months ago too. I do have a profile at exploretalent.com but i hesitated to call and i googled his name and now i see it's a scam. thanks everyone.

1-800-763-8517. Caller was Eddie Parker from Explore Talent with heavy accent....to call him directly at this # and ask for him - "Creative Director."  That he had my acting profile, etc... Never submitted anything. I Checked The Better Business Bureau, and both Explore Talent in Las Vegas, Nevada and Exploretalent.com (modeling, talent & theatrical agencies)were given an F by the BBB and they give you the customer complaint history. So those people that are saying that they made money from them, they are lying!!!
If these companies were legitimate they would sign up with the BBB to at least improve that F!

Robert Davis called and left a message.  He said he is a creative director from explore talent.com -- # 1800-763-8517.  He said I am being called for a major motion picture:  The Green Lantern.

Total Scam, I am a manager of a band!  I thought it was an odd way to book Full Circle Spirit.  I had to play the message on my cell phone 3 times to determine what was being stated.  I decided to google the number and here I am!  Thanks everyone for the info.!
