Totally got a call from these guys after putting a profile up on a website.

Guy said his name was " Jeff Anderson", creative director from Hollywood California. Total SCAM!! Sounds like the same guy with a VERY thick possibly indian accent is calling with any very popular american name he can. What a rip off !

I got a call from Jeff Anderson on my cell on March 15, 2009. He left a message. He had an accent, not sure from which country. The number he gave me to call back was 800-966-9940. I went online to search for this Jeff Anderson from Hollywood, CA and came across this website. It was a stange message and I'm not calling back.

Just got a call on my cellphone from a four digit number...from "Rex Anthony" Creative Director from Hollywood California. Just like the other postings, he(?) said in a thick accent that he saw my "beautiful pictures" on a modeling website and wanted me to call back to schedule auditions with the number of 18007638517. It seemed very fishy, and when I typed the number in, it brought me here. I wouldn't give them any information or call them back.

Yes, I signed up with Talent6.com this week.  Then yesterday, I got a call from this guy with a very thick accent.  He said his name was David Baxter ext. 5023 at 1-800-763-8517.  He kept going on and on about how they were needing "Hispanics" for the entertainment industry.  He said that his company was "Explore Talent."  He said that they would set up my portfolio and pictures...etc....but I told him that I had already done that with Talent6.com.   But he just kept going on and on....and finally I hung up on him.  I just had a gut feeling that something didn't sound right.  Then I looked up the telephone number on google and saw all these comments about how this is a scam artist.  I don't know how he got my number, but I'm contacting Talent6.com and letting them know that they have somebody working there that is giving out their client's numbers.

Called on my cell.  Caller IDed himself as Henry Alston.  Wanted me to call back if I was serious about being an actor, etc.  Before I called him back I GOOGLED the 800 number he left.  This web site came up.  Needless to say I'm not calling back.

I got the same name (David Baxter)and phone number (800.763.8517) last night on my cell (didnt recognize the number so I waited for them to leave a message). Explore Talent was the agency he gave.  Something about my profile matching what they needed for a feature film.

Yeah, I just got a voice message from a "Rex Anthony" saying that they were a Creative Director for Explore Talent and that my profile was picked to do some modeling/acting. So, out of curiosity my fiance called them back and asked what they were all about and he/she said something about my profile being picked to do auditions and blah blah blah...couldn't really understand them cause they had a thick accent. So after blah blah blahing for a while, they tried to get money and then my fiance was like we're not interested and hung up right away. Came on here to check out the number and boy am I glad I did!! So glad we didn't give them anything, cause they almost did sound convincing. Stupid scammers! -____-

Just got the call an hour ago.  I wasn't able to answer so he left me a message saying his name is Cameron and was the creative director of visual talents. Could barely understand him.  Was going to call but came on the internet to see if it was a scam and sure enough it was.

I also got a call from 1-800-763-8571.  It was from a guy named Simon Davis.  He had a strange accent and claimed he was a talent agent for a CA based company.  He said he like my profile.  Interestingly, he called on a new cell phone number I had just gotten that day and he had my name????

Ijust got a call from the same guy. He mentioned explore talent. The caller I'd showed 5583, so I knew something was up. My son signed up with explore talent a year ago and some other agency. I always have him put my # for contact, this way I can find out if it is a scam. I research any # that I don't recognize!
