Stupid me gave them my card number and now I am out of 70 bucks..smmhhh But I did call my bank and told them to do an investigation and give me my money back!! Im sooooooooooooooooooo tight!!!! grrrr

sooo are these scammers a different entity or is explore talent all together a scam??? sigh

A real talent agency will find you a job then charge you a cut of your wages.  Anyone who wants money before getting you the job is a scammer.

Just got a call from mr. David Baxter saying it was VERY important that I call back because my profile was selected. I had to stop and think for a minute and remembered that I signed up for casting one night when I was HAMMERED drunk. I thought it was odd and don't even remember if I posted a picture and if I did, it couldn't have been pretty. Haha , all in all, if they ask for cash, ITS A SCAM. Better safe than really sorry.

I just activated my Profile for 3 months i was realy surpised when Eddi Parker called me but he made it true i all redy have Auditions Set for Explore Talent I realy nead to thank Eddi parker For the offer

I got a call today from some woman never really caught her name due to her accent.   Spoke with her a while and then she transferred me to her manager Oscar Williams who claimed he really liked my profile and he must have had my Facebook profile picture because he described the picture exactly.  He went on to tell me about auditions for feature films that he wanted me to go to in my town.   At that point I became skeptical because I live in a small New England town where there has never been anything filmed.   I would say stay away.

I received a call while my phone was off, but it gave this number as a call back. She said her name was "Susan Smith, Creative Director". It did sound like a call center and there was something not quite right about it, so I started to do some research and came across this site. I am glad I didn't call back.

Got a call today..the number came up as 570-4.  Answered..they went on about my height, build, hair color, eye color, etc... asked about my experience, asked about my interest in possible printwork and filmwork..  Then I asked if there were any fees ( I get work and I've NEVER paid a fee unless I want rights to copies of the work), he said yes and then I explained I would call back (as I was in a doctor's waiting room and my name was called) he became upset and told me I needed to be frank with him if I wasn't interested..explained to him I was at the doctor and needed to go, he gave me his number and ext...anywho, I contemplated calling back but did some research instead..found this amongst others... I went to the explore talent website..and the number they give isn't listed. I spoke with 4 different representatives of the fake number they gave me and they all had plain jane american names with thick accents. bizarre? I think not.. then I called back, pretending to be someone important to bust them wide open, I made up all this crap about dumb legal U.S. stuff, I pretended I had a case #, he was dumbfounded, kept giving me false info about the website, couldn't tell me anything about where to find common info on the website, couldn't tell me which building they were next to (seeing as he told me they were located on sunset blvd...THANKS google satellite!!!) he told me it was private information..haha it's private information? If you can give me your address of your BUSINESS, but can't tell me what landmarks you're next to, you're an IDIOT. Also, when I asked his name he stumbled and said JAKE...okk...I asked for a last name..he said SMITH. LMFAO. RIIIIIIGHT....and the "senior director" with the THICK accent? ERIC SMITH! RIIIIGHT.. Another person he "transferred" me to? BRYAN JOHNSON with a THICK accent..coincidence? Not so much. ALSO, while pretending to be someone important, I asked what attorney represented the company and what his basic contact info was. He took 20min to find it and came back saying Robert was the attorney..when I asked him to spell it, he came back 2 minutes later and gave me the name ROBERT BERT. HHHHHAAAAAAHHHAAAA. I asked him for the law firm he came from and he had NO clue, NO phone number..etc. I told him I happened to live in that area and know for a fact that the address he gave me wasn't correct and he got silent and transferred me to someone else. He kept trying to sell me their business when I was asking for basic info like official names, owners, email, etc..(which all the info he gave me didn't match up with the wesbite dumb A$$ES) Then he had the nerve to tell me that Snoop Dogg represents their company..I asked for proof and he showed me an AD on the website. (whatever).
anyways..there are like 20 more stupid things they told me that would knock your socks off. I model and my brother is represented by an agency..and they were dumbfounded as to what these people were doing. ExploreTalent.com is a real site...but the people calling from 1 800 763 8517 are NOT official. They are liars...pound them with questions and they'll start contradicting everything they say. HAHA it was scripted as to his response to such invasive questions.

Same call that TM received.  Wow!  Listen to your intuition!!!

LJ,
I got the same call the other day. And it was from the exact same woman named Susan Smith. She had a heavy accent I could hardly understand her. Well she was telling me all these things about how she has acting auditions waiting for me and how casting directors are asking for me to sign with them. But when she asked for Money I had to think twice if it was a scam. So, I questioned her about it and the answer was "no Ms. we are not a scam we are trying to improve your acting career." I am glad I found this website and saw your post. Good thing I didn't call her back and give her my information.

I just got a call from a ROSE JACKSON on this! They are from Hollywood, CA!! Yea right!!! Does anyone know how much money they try to get from you?

i don't no why people speak about the person who they don't no i spoke to Mr Rex Anthony long time back and i did what ever he said first i thought it he was fooling me but then i saw i am getting calls from a lot of people and i got a very cool offer from them and now i into a lot of thing and i thank to that person and also pray for him may god always be with him love u Mr Anthony love u a lot

I got a call on my cell phone from a las vegas number - I didnt pick it up so someone named "Rex" claiming to be from Explore Talent left me a msg. He said he was interested in getting me submitted for some movie roles in Mission Impossible 4 and Spiderman. I googled his name and number first, and I'm thankful I did. I wont even waste my time.

Yea I got an Indian lady who went by "Carolyn Jones." She called herself the Senior Creative Director. She talked me up for a while and I thought it might be legit at first. Then, of course, she said I had to pay 200 dollars as an "investment in myself." She told me I could star next to Owen Wilson in his next movie. At that I said, look I have no experience in acting. How in the world could I star next to him? Some more b.s. about promoting inexperienced actors ensued. I didn't buy it. She told me I had to pay that very day. I told her, "If I'm really such hot stuff like you say I am (even though you don't know me at all), why can't you just refer me to auditions yourself. I mean, you just said you were gonna make me a star." More b.s. about "investing in myself" monetarily of course. It's a joke people. SCAM.

I know a lady who ACTUALLY WORKS in showbiz and she says IT SHOULD NOT COST YOU A DIME to be discovered. If it does, you are being scammed, period.

I just got a call from a lady named susan smith with senior creative directors based in hollywood. she had a thick accent and the call seemed like it was from a call center. she was telling we to sign with them and pay 170. i thought it was odd so i told her i'll have to call her back because none of it sounds right. i immediately googled her and found this site. obviously a big SCAMMM! DO NOT CALL HER BACK IF YOU GET A CALL FROM SUSAN SMITH.

The same thing(((( I'm so dissapointed(((( Call was from some Nansy, the number was 8666118672. Scam........ Be careful!!!!
