- Me| 1 replyMediCredit is a debt collection agency that collects on behalf of several hospitals. The only way the company gets an account is if the hospital places the account in collections. Yes, I am an employee with MC. We are required to ask for information to verify we reached the correct person so we do not violate FDCPA and HIPAA. I agree, there are some employees that can be rude. However, there are employees, such as myself, that are actually nice. Just take the time to speak with us, and if there're any doubts contact the hospital to verify we're legit.

- OhioHave gotten two messages, one yesterday and one today...the voicemail on my cellphone says it is Medicredit calling on behalf of Colorado Plains Medical Center. I haven't been in Colorado for almost 50 years and live in Ohio. If this isn't a scam, what is. A lousy one, too, if they are calling an Ohio number with a Colorado bill?

- Rs2000 replies to OZZY10| 4 repliesWhy can these calls not be blocked I have tried repeatedly and over fifty blocked numbers. Can our government do anything to stop this harassment or the bigger question. They probably do not care at all. I doubt seriously if there is one person in congress or the White House who gives a flying fooloogle if the average working person has to deal with this continual harassment. The callers are doing something they are paid to do and are not probably
bad people but their bosses will rot in hell sooner not later I hope. Maybe there is a senator or congressman who will understand their constituents are not all horrible debt ridden people. And these predators need to be stopped. I doubt it but if I was one of these people and I commited a crime against my brethren or society I would probably walk away a free exonerated man. That's what we live for. But love and peace to our veterans and their families - LongTimeDealingsI also have had numerous calls from collection companies (SpeedyOne, OnLineCash, etc) that Swear that I have received payment from one or more of these companies and checking my bank accounts and sending documentation, means nothing...they just sell the 'debt' to another even worse collection company. Now receiving phone calls stating my application has been approved for auto deposit into my bank account for $800 - $1500. Never, ever have applied for an online payday loan. Either ID theft of another scam.

- Discome replies to gemstate92| 2 repliesThis # 800-823-2318 is from a Collection Agency, In my Case it's from a Medical bill. they call themselves "Medi-Credit" it's a recording but if i answer they put someone on the line. I"m not paying it because i don't believe i owe it. But if i answer they try to talk me into payments. i say i'm at Work & hang up. I could block the # from my phone. But eventually when i have the time i want to argue the bill & or have them lower it.
Not sure if this collection agency sponsors other billing agencies that try to collect money other than hospital medical bills. - Papa WheelieThe caller is Medicredit, a medical debts, Bill collector. I do owe medical debt and I make regular monthly payments to the individual businesses to whom I owe. I have no idea who this outfit is, but I do not owe THEM a dime. I will continue to pay down the debt I owe as I am able to.
Since I'm terminal they may all get paid off, or not. If they don't, they are more than welcome to come looking for me, for the balance. See ya on the other side bishes!- Caller: Medicredit
