The Do Not Call list has not worked since 2009.  Shortly after that date the new 5 top excutives of that division of the US government was found to be watching porn (4 men/1woman) 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.  In investigating as best I could I fopund these 5 people are still running the FCC with no reprimand.  This is exactly why the Do Not Call list no longer works 4 years later.  It worked for me prior to 2009.

They called me today, 5:04 PM, SUNDAY............

I don't owe anybody money, and my name is NOT Steven Johnson. My number was changed  5 months ago.

Why do these places NOT know what name and number is my own and who name and number Steven Johnson has?

This is a basic invasion into my home on a Sunday afternoon.  I will be tracking down this company and putting them out of business with lawsuits within the next 90 days, stay tumed for the resuts.

6 months ago your number belonged to Steven Johnson.  Or maybe Betty Thompson had it.

There is a limited number of phone numbers available.  These days between cell phones and fax machines and Direct Inward Dialing at companies most of the available numbers have already been used at least once.  Your new number is someone else's old number.  It came complete with the previous owner's pests.

I received a call  from a RoboT Call asking me to call the 800 number. I called and a very rude lady
stated that I owe Direct TV $143.00. I ssaid that I did not have Direct TC for over 4 years and, before my divorc e, my ex told me she paid this bill. The lady I talked to got indignant and turned me over to her,"manager". He threatened me and said,"If you do not pay right now, I will ruin your credit".
I said that he is violating collection laws and told hiom to put every thing in writing. Furthermore I told him that I cannot pay the full amount that he claims. HE finally settled fofr $93.00 paid in two installments. I said put it in writing and I will make payment infor mation when letter is received. Today I go another collection c all from them I told the lady that I was busy and she hung up on me.What A joke these A------are.

This company is just irritating.  I had my current phone from past 2 years. From past 4 months we started get automated calls twice a day everyday asking for someone whom we are not aware about. I called them back several times requesting to disassociate my number with the person they are looking for. But they say it cannot be done. They expect us to call back them every time their computer pops us his name, or change my current phone. The operators just dont want to connect to a manager or listen to you request, they just hang up. Not sure how to deal with loose nuts.
