If you know you do not owe a debt, demand validation. Go to the FTC's website. They have valuable information to help you with this:

Got two calls from these clowns after 7:00p.m. last night.  One of them left a recorded message.  Just for kicks and giggles, I decided to call these clowns back and tell them where to go
Well, all I got was a recorded message that they could not answer the phone and to please call back later.  If this was a legitimate collection agency, they would at least identify themselves and give youa chance to leave a message .

Exactly one week to the day TODAY 3/4/2015 I answer the phone 1800-900-1380 on the line, asking for the same person I stated fifteen times before YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER! This Woman tells me You may have told me that before but I don't think you being honest.Well, I recorded all the calls now let's see what I can get for harassment.

Considering it isn't a phone company, its a company doing business by phone- they are subject to state and federal regulations. In this state, if you tell them to not call back & they do- you can sue for 1500.00 a call.

On the 14 th of March we were eating supper and got the "800-900-1380 call. It started out by lowering your credit card interest. Then switched over to the City of Miami came on saying that we owed $919.50. The great part is I live in Montana. 2500 miles away from Miami.
    • Caller: lower your credit card interest.

I have received calls from this number on quite a few occasions in the last 10 days.  Caller always hangs up when our answering machine picks up.  However, today when the answering machine picked up, I was told an important call for _____ which is our sons name, who does not live with us, but is an adult with children of his own.  He heeds to call during business hours for a message about  important personal business.  Out of curiosity, I called the number a couple of hours after we received the call, and got no answer.  Also when the answering machine picked up the message says, if they are not home, press 2 for a message, to repeat these  options press * on the phone key pad.  Very interesting and the message went on and on about something.

Mellie Concern of Possibly ID Thief
Got the same number 1800-900-1380 on 18 March 2015.
I got this site because I google the number above.
I pick up because a real person was calling  with my name and asking if I ever lived in a certain address and city in
Utah.    I do visit family in Utah, but never lived there. They claim to be collecting a debt by my name but I paid as I
shopped in Utah but I have never got anything in credit there.
I asked them more on it but they would give no more info since I am not the person they were searching.
I felt very concern that this was some ID security risk and am trying to find this out.
Thank you for your input...puts me somewhat at ease for now.
There must be some way to STOP all this calls.

The company just called asking for my deceased husband, who died over seas 5.5 years ago.  We had no debt and the caller was completely insulting.  I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on.  I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor again and was put on hold.  I simply reported them to the fed creditor abuse site, this is absurd.

They keep calling the regional US attorneys office, and they tell them they have the wrong number... and they continue to call.  This company is going to be wiped out soon.  Anybody this dumb must be a scam.  I bet we can prove fraud.
