- ceAsked for my wife and said they would call back at a later time.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- GeorgeI received a call from this number today. When I called back to ask them to remove my name from "their list", they asked for personal information: name, phone no., city and state. They stated that their "sales department" made the call; however, the 800 number for Central States Indemnity of Omaha does not match up to the number on my Caller I.D. They offered no other number to contact their "sales department".

Did you too keep getting these calls. Go to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
Everyone needs to file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.- Caller: unknown
- VeeThese dorks call my number every day. We have said "No thank you!" Inevitably whether we are at home or not, they will call. Their calls are being saved to use as proof of their audicity when I file a suit against their butts since I too am on the "National Do Not Call Registry." As the DNCR indicates, all we have to do is keep of record.
A reputible company such as Bank of America...the actual company...would not resort to these harassing business tactics.
There are morons out there looking to take advantage of people who are unaware of actual company policies and are easily convinced that they are dealing with someone from a reputible institution. People need to understand that a credible company will not email or phone someone for anything. So simply ignore or hang up. If everyone does, these idiots will have to look for some other "fish to fry". In the meantime, the DNCR people needs to pull out the bait and hook these slithery slimeballs so they can't resort to some other means of endangering the lives of innocent human beings!! We need to go back to the day when we didn't have the right or the means to intrude on other people. If I say I'm not interested, that should be ENOUGH!!!!!!!!DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN!!!!Gawd, don't they have any fricken pride??? Absolutely NOT!!!!
Thank goodness for Karma!!!!!- Caller: 800 Service
- CherylThese fools have been calling my business line 4 or more times a day for at least two weeks. They only ring and display their phone number 5 to 11 times in a row. I finally called to see who would do this and it took them 2 minutes of dead air time to come up with that they were Bank of America. They said it would take a month to stop the calls. B of A had my old business number but not this one. They are crippling my business line that I pay for. When I told them litigation was next the calls suddenly stopped; and it didn't take a month!
- catherine woodsi have gotten this call several times and they do not leave amessage,
i am registered with donotcall.- Caller: don' t know
- maThese people keep calling - almost every day....
I've reported them to the DO NOT CALL registry...hopefully they'll get a huge fine and stop their annoying calls
www.donotcall.gov - JAMy trouble with these people started last May, the caller had an accent, not that I have a hatred for people with accents, but it did make it easier for me to remember the offender when he called again the next month after I added caller ID to my telephone service to combat this problem.
I recently purchased and installed a caller ID box that can be programmed to block or accept phone calls from up to 175 different numbers, here's the link: http://www.hellodirect.com/hellodirect/Shop?DSP=30005&pcr=1:1:5:25:280:3020
Now when these jokers call me, I can laugh and rejoice instead of getting steamed, I can look at their call as a way of testing the reliability of the caller ID manager, and it does work very well.- Caller: out of area
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JAAddendum to the posting before this one: the credit protection service is what they were trying to sell me, and when this guy asked me if I was interested, I said "I don't think so", which made this joker ask "what you mean, you don't think so?", and that was when I realized that it was fruitless to try and be polite.
The caller then asked me for my social security number, and that was when I realized what a menace Bank of America was going to be, if it was in fact Bank of America, and I hung up and came to the realization that I was going to need to get caller ID to have any means of self-defense.
Again, I do not have a hatred for people with accents, but they should be courteous same as the rest of us, an accent would ordinarily be a non-issue with me, because I've had dealings with many nice people with accents, but my experience with that telemarketer was a voice I could never forget.- Caller: out of area

- Linda JohnsonI have had so many calls from this number I can't keep track of them. Other people have said this is Bank of America but they told me they were Central States Indemnity offering protection services, for what I don't know. I told them I didn't know who they were and that I have never done business with them before so they should not be calling me. She said she didn't know why, it was probably their sales department and she couldn't help me. She said she could remove my name but it takes up to 30 days! THat's ridiculous! When I asked to be removed I expect it to be removed immediately and not get any more calls from them. Does not happen. I want these calls to stop!!!!
