Just got a call from 801 545 1800, the caller left a message, but spoke so fast, I'm gonna have to listen to it a couple more times. What I DID get was Welcome back to Ebay (I never really left, just slowed down on selling) and there is some sort of special offer that included a 5% discount on final value fees, the caller did direct me to ebay.com for more info, although, as I said, I'll have to listen to message again to get more details.

says she's Donna calling from Ebay and wants to welcome me back with special offer. Where do these people come up with this crap....

This phone number IS ebay. I've been selling on ebay for 14 years. They called me yesterday about a medical device I had scheduled for sale. They told me the item was prohibited for sale on ebay. I have received many of these calls in the past and never answered, til now. The caller ID shows DRAPER, UT. I know it's real because after our conversation, they immediately removed the item I had scheduled for sale. Noone else could have done this...or had access to my account.
I did ask why the caller ID doesn't say ebay and she told me she thought it did...

I have had calls from this number even at 2 am!  

It's eBay offering their monthly promotion. It's not a scam. If you go to your eBay messages, the same deal will be there. Plus, they don't ask you for anything and say to go to eBay to take advantage of the offer. Be careful when you accept the deal because the Amazon drone is in your back yard!

This is absolutely a scam.  I am an eBay power seller and do occasionally get a call from them ( its rare ) but they only have my business #.   Just got a call from this # on my personal line....a phone number they do not have..
