If you have a TracFone that ends with the designation 'G' (Example LG 440G) it uses the GSM bandwidth. This also true of TracFone affiliated companies such as Net10 or WalMart Mobile. AT&T is the other major GSM service provider for TracFone. So, if you have a T-Mobile SIM in your Tracfone, the SIM Card includes T5 at the end, (like TF65SIMT5), then this 805-637-7243 is your Voicemail retrieval number. If anyone calls and leaves a message, this number likely will be displayed on your phone, so you can retrieve voicemail messages. Check 'Missed Calls' or 'Received Calls' for the actual number of the caller. Even blocked callers CAN leave messages, apparently.

I get calls from this # every few days around 3:20 Central. It is a robocall trying to get me to press 1 it comes through visual voicemail but not my regular voicemail (weird) and every time my phone goes haywire and I have to reboot it several times before I can send or receive calls again.

A voice-mail was left in my phone: "Dial +1-805-637-7243". I did not pick it up.

I've received two calls that were in the middle of the night.

The person or whoever owns this number 1-805-637-7243 called my cell phone and left this message. Mr Gordon please make sure you bring your ID and paper work to the doctor office when you come. Then it says pleas press 1 to keep appointment press 2 to cancel or reschedule . press 3 to hear message again. when I called number back on cell phone and I tried on my house phone A RECORDING COMES ON AND SAYS THIS NUMBER IS TOO A VOICE MAIL SERVICE PLEASE ENTER PHONE NUMBER TO LEAVE MESSAGE. WELL I DID NOT DO THAT. ALSO I AM GETTING CALLS FOR A KELLY WHITE AND I AM GETTING TIRED OF THEM CALLING FOR HER. SHE IS NOT AT THIS NUMBER WHICH NOW IT WON'T COME UP ON MY ID CALLER BECAUSE IT SAYS PRIVATE MY CABLE COMPANY TOLD ME I COULD PUT BLOCKS ON ALL CALLS 800 OR LONG DISTANCEBUT MY HUSBAND FAMILY LIVES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND IT COULD BLOCK THERES SO I GUESS I JUST HAVE TO GRIN AND BEAR AND I AM HANDICAPPED AND CEN'T GET TO PHONE ALL TIME. SO SAD THE FCC CAN'T CONTROL THESE VICIOUS PEOPLE AND SCAMMERS.

I got the 805-.000-7243.  I called voice mail.  It was a system for me to pay for pre-paid collect calls from inmates at a prison.
I do block the phone number but believe they have several phone numbers.

Need to do something with this fraud company or person because they are calling my job a total of 30 times consecutively, and this is total ridiculous.

I THINK SOMEONE TOOK THE# FROM T MOBILE AN USEING THE # TO SCAM PEOPLE.

This # 1 805 637 7243 is the T mobile message center. Person calls in to access your inbox by keying in your phone #. Choosing to, or not to, leave an actual voice message. This is an automated system. Some one can choose to use this service to in effect scam you or to harass you. Would advise calling T mobile customer service if harassment occurs. Give them as much information as you can.  By calling your box # instead of you directly these people avoid being blocked or directly identified by phone #.
