Do not call my phone. The calls started suddenly and are continuous througout the day. This is annoying.

You do owe a debt and we got your number through a company that gives us past address and phone number on you. ..we don't want u to give us your ss # because we already have it. ...we use that to verify if we have the right person to protect your privacy because a lot of the Times you don't know u owe and it a embarrassing. ...we have a job to and if u get a call from us all u have to do is either pay or it may not be you...if it's not we won't call again. .cause we don't like calling [***] over and over and if it is then pay your damn bills....the only people who get on here and.complain have a debt. ..

If you do have that paper send a copy foe proof....if we be live every one who said they already paid this or it was written off we would have no job. ..if you have the proof then u should have no problem proving it...we can't remove from collections because you ate pretty sure you have a form and it's taken care of...hospitals place bills in collections if it was the small percentage that was by error then you have to fix it, ..it's not our responsibility. ..

The person calling was exceptionally rude and refused to give me any information about the company she was calling for or reason for the call. They have called me as late as 9:00 pm.

Received a contact re same as above in comments: these are people who buy stale debt,and try to get you to pay pennies on the dollar; note this pays for their purchase from one collection agency to another; keep changing their names to make it look very agreeable; used the same phone number for this third party;

Why do people have to be so nasty? Do you really think people are going to respond positively when you cuss and call them names?

This number has been harassing me non stop i am pregnant and not in a perfect health. I prefer not ti receive calls from this number.

They called asking for someone I didn't know.  While searching on the number, I came up with this information:

Just got a call on my cell phone for someone I've never heard of.  Told BRITTANY I didn't know who that is, never heard of THAT person BUT she insisted that it had to be me (it's not but boy are they persistent and nasty, rude, and socially unacceptable) and then hung up on her when she demanded my SS# to prove it wasn't me---ummmm, no, I don't think so!  Also blocked the number on my phone. I don't take these calls from ANYONE--and oh, I'm an attorney and although I don't do litigation I have a litigator on speed dial who would be more than willing to sue them out of existence.

Called back from my office line and explained to the NASTY RUDE representative who I finally got through to said she'd remove the number. we'll see....cause I then told her I am an attorney who deals with debt collectors like this all the time and if one more call comes through (I blocked it after I told the

ANYHOW I started to tell the rep who answered when I called back that I'm an attorney and will retaliate swiftly and with horrible consequences and although I was NOT nasty--just very, very professional and my tone was sharp and ice-cold--she HUNG UP ON ME!

That is why people are nasty! I realize she's just doing her job but if you get ugly with me, I **will** retaliate and make your life, your supervisor's life, the company owner's life, and anyone connected with your businesses life a living hell.

This is not the first time I've dealt with someone giving out my number as theirs or the moron trying to call the correct person reverses the numbers.  And no I am not changing my number! Been there, done that, and not paying for it this time. But if I ever find this person using my number I will have them arrested for stealing my identity then personally deliver them to the debt collector's offices who keep calling.

I pay my debts and hate being harrassed like this.

Gosh...came across this very old blog also searching the same information. Why would collection agency employees take these post so insulting? You hear the same thing every day just do your job setting at your customer service department desk not on a blog to another faceless person. Do some collection agency employees have debt too, yes and so do most consumers. Money makes the world a bad place.

The reason they get upset is because we expose them when they use illegal collection activities.  This then cuts into their cash stream because they get paid on commission and when the pool of "victims" shrinks, so does their paycheck.
