ALERT!!! Steve is part of the fraud. Called my bank on number of Credit Card. No unusual activity.

FRAUD!!! People saying is a BofA number is lying. I called directly to Bank of America and they said that number was not theirs.

Be careful people do not give any of your information!!!

I never answer calls that identify as "800 Service". Even if you call 844-585-0488, I would never give them info over the phone. Go into the bank.
This # called us this a.m. No message was left. I did not try to call back. Better safe than sorry.

This is a scam! Not Bank of America

This number came up on caller id as a Toll Free Call. Said it was BOA Fraud Dept.  Thought it probably was a scam.  Called the number on my CC and it was legit. They questioned an online purchase. I would still always call the number on the card, but in this case it was legit.

Just got this call about my Capitol One Credit Card and the number they stated in not even mind.   It's fraud, they give bogus last four numbers so you call them.  Then saying they will temporary block the number so you call.    Don't fall for it, I get these all the time.

I received a call today from this number saying there was fraud detected on my Bank of America credit card. Then the automated message asked if this is <my full name>. I hung up. I called Bank of America customer service line and pressed prompt to fraud department. The representative thoroughly searched and explained that 1) this number is nowhere in the contact information for Bank of America. 2) Bank of America fraud department logs each time that they contact their customers. She showed the last time they contacted me recently was by text to inquire about a charge I had to confirm was actually me. 3) She clarified that there would have been a log in their system to show they called me. But there was none. I believe this number is connected to an operation of fraud. And I also believe a lot of scammers who work for these types of operations will go the distance of visiting this type of website in order to falsely validate these numbers connected to their scams. It wouldn't be beneath them to impersonate themselves as inquiring customers among those of us who have truly been their targets. Beware and be vigilant.
