- Smart PersonSup fools? First off, the message says "maybe" your account will be locked. I called BoA's 1000 number, The complete idiot wouldn't help me because I changed cell phone numbers. Absolutely useless. I asked if there were new charges. He said I can't help you. Then I asked if the fraudulent number was a BoA number. The answer was I don't know, I don't see it here. Then used my google voice number to call the fraudulent number. I stayed on hold for about 4 minutes and then it played a 4 second piece of some pop music. WTH? then it made a few bleeps and tones. So daddy-o, It's a scam call.

Listen to messageQuote:You. Hello, this is the Bank of America Credit Card Fraud Department calling about unusual activity on your credit card. Before we begin, if you need to call us back, our number is 844-585-0488. This call may be recorded paracervicio and espanol marque nuevi you.
Is this? I didn't understand. Am I speaking to Joseph? I'm sorry, I'm not able to understand your response. Please call us as soon as possible at the number that appears on the back of your card or on your statement. Thank you. Goodbye.
Even if a scammer has spoofed the number and is impersonating them, the instructions to call the number on the back of your card or on your Statement is not something a scammer wants you to do, because that will go to the real Bank of America.
Use common sense people and call your bank from one of the published numbers. - RealityChik| 1 replyThis # has been scamming since 2019? it’s now 2023. And BOA still hasn’t done anything to stop it? Shame.

- BigA replies to RealityChikThis might be totally amazing to you but in "Reality" there "Chick" Bank of America is, well, simply a bank with no law enforcement powers. Now, I would like you to explain to me how they are supposed to prevent people from spoofing numbers and impersonating them? Also, explain to me how laws in this country can be enforced when the criminals are in another country that takes bribes from said criminals to look the other way? I won't wait for an answer because I know that you won't have one.
