it is actually a call from a chase employee... call the any chase branch in elgin, il and ask the call center number and they will verify... they will repeat the number to you...

The above is another fake posting from the scammer providing false information!!!

This is a fraudulent call, they wanted my social and other information. Called Chase Bank and talked to the fraud department and found out this is not a Chase number.

This number has called me twice today. At 12:03 and just now at 4:03.

they continue to call-never leave a voicemail-ANNOYING

It's Chase wanting there payment, you can a call another Chase number but they have no clue to as to this number(they have so many phone numbers). So they will say it's a fraud call (unless it's the phone number they use at that call bank) but it's not and no they don't ask for you SS # , they want their money.

Received a voice mail message for a person who does not and never did work for us at 6:30 p.m. asking this person to call them back by 11 p.m. that night.

This was, in fact, a call from Visa.  The caller correctly identified me, by name, as the intended recipient. A message was left asking me to call (866) 301-9838, which matches the number printed on the back of my card.  I decided to call, and I'm glad that I did; a problem had occurred with my auto-pay. If I hadn't called, my December payment would not have gone through.

We just received 3 phone calls from this number regarding one of our Chase credit card accounts. They gave us 800-955-9060 to verify some suspicious charges. The 800 number goes to Chase and it turned out that our credit card number was stolen. I'm glad we got the heads up early.

Any time Chase has called me for fraudulent charges they've left a message. This number didn't do that, so I won't bother to call it back.
It's just going to have to remain a mystery for me I guess.

ok all my chase cards are closed... so why would they be calling me... they have been closed for over 2 years...

so I called back to phone number that I have on a back of my CHASE CARD, and they forwarded me to CHASE FRAUD DEPARTMENT,

Got a few calls on my cell and work numbers from this number. Ryan from Chase Fraud department had a few questions about my cc account. Finally caught me when I was at work and I did talk to him.
My card was compromised a few months back and they issued a new card to me. Ryan was verifying a few charges that were still left on my old credit card to find out if those were legit or also fraud.
No personal information was asked. He had all the info. All the places in question he was asking me about were also legit places in my neighborhood where I often shop.

I received 2 calls from this number today Feb.20,2012 I do not have an account with them and
the stange thing is they came in on a new cell phone that I just bought a couple of days ago.
I sent the calls to voicemail but they left no message.

Except my chase card is closed, so they can't be contacting me about fraudulent charges.
