It said I could get a lower credit card interest rate by pressing 2.It didn't say what credit card it was? I didn't answer the phone. So I called them backk with caller ID to see who it was and it said the phone was no longer in service. The call came from Pensacola Fl. SCAM!!!

they keep calling my cell phone number! fortunately I screen my calls. I finally called back and waited the 10 min.s to get through. The conversation went like this :
me: "you just called my cell phone"
nasty woman: "we called a cell phone ?"
me: "thats righ-..."
click....

she hung up on me

Just got a call from them today. No message and the number appears to no longer be active.

Called me, pressed 1 to speak with a rep, on hold for 9 min, man answers and I ask what interest rate he can lower for me and then he hangs up. Call back but the number is "no longer in service".

This number calls a number of time but when the answering machine picks up no message left.

This call came in from Pensacola florida the number was 850-473-1276.  It says it is not urgent there are no problems with my credit cards, but to hold on and speak to representative to lower my rate.  Some one named Jennifer came on the line and asked if I wanted to lower my rate. I asked her what does it take to work for company?  Stupidity?  That I have reported them to the do not call registry several times, but they must have stupid people or crooks working for them, and that I expected, no demanded that she remove my number from thier computer system immediately

They call me about 10 times a week on my land line and cell. They refuse to acknowledge my request to remove my name from their calling list. The DO Not Call Registry does not prevent all telemarketer or political poll calls. They really need to step up to the plate with these scammers. The worse thing is I DON'T HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call and I have been getting this sort of call for several months.  Last month I tried to get removed and was hung up on.  This time I kept asking what credit card of mine this was for, since it sounded like it was changing my current card.  It seems these people need to be investigated by law enforcement.

Called me today from 850-473-1276, recording on my machine told me same as Debby, " It says it is not urgent there are no problems with my credit cards, but to hold on and speak to representative to lower my rate... No mentions of any particular credit card companies.  Sounds like a scam so I hung up on it.  Any tips on who to call to get these criminals locked up?

Got the call today, when I answered, said this is ...., and they hung up, when calling the number back recording says "number no longer in service".

These scumbags have changed their tactics.
When I tried to phone the number and find out who is harassing me, I got this recorded message:
"We're sorry - you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service
If you feel you have reached this recording in error, please check the number and try your call again..
For directory assistance you may dial 411 or your directory assistance provider."
If anybody remembers the name of the company, please let me know (so I can track them down and phone them at their homes ...)

This time no message...they have called before on both of our home phones saying we can get a lower interest rate on credit card....

called my cell.  man refused to give me his company's address or even their location.  The stated name in their pre-recorded message is "Financial Services", and that's all he would tell me about the company.  He said he wasn't required by federal law to give me *any* information, and that he was trying to lower my interest rates.

Called them back today, got the "This number is no longer in service" bit, but if you let it run through, you realize it's basically a recording on their end because when it gets done, you get the real (not sure what to call her) phone lady **shrug** who says that this number is not accepting incoming calls at this time...

I got a call on my home line earlier in the week. I reported it and then got a call on my cell 2 days later. I called back the number and it says it is a disconnect number no longer in service.

I've also been getting calls from this number.  I even get them on a sunday, which I am positive in canada you cannot call then.  Needless to say I have been wondering why a company from the states is calling about lowering my CC rates...this needs to stop.

I have also attempted to call back the number, and after the recording I get ringing over and over.  I'm beyond mad at this,.

called May 07, 13:38 CST, hung up when answering machine kicked in.  There was no name associated with the caller-id.

Got a call from 850-473-1276 on my work phone. They hung up when I answered identifying place of employment & my name. I have not tried to call back...

Same as many stated. Of course I was curious about lowering an interest rate. Could not find out for what company. When rep answered, asked if wanted to lower interest rate, I said yes...CLICK. She hung up on me.

Very annoying and this better not happen again.
