3:45pm EST Call from 850-473-1276. I have relatives in FL and wasn't sure of their phone numbers, so I picked up phone.
Recording said "Please don't be alarmed. You can have a lower interest rate..." I hung up.

Called my home phone, number was on the called ID.  Left no message on the machine.  I googled the number and got to this website.  I don't even have a credit card of any kind.  Idiots.

The number 850-473-1276 was on caller ID 7/22/08 at 3?14pm. They left no message.  I called the number back because I was going to tell not to call my number and when I called 850-473-1276 the message said the number had been disconnected.  How can I receive a call from a disconneted number?

got a call from this number, yesterday morning..call came thru at 11:12am.
they did not leave a message..
How do you 'block' these type of calls???

Computer called my home number, which is registered with the federal "do not call" list.  After I pressed "1", "Octavia" of "Financial Services" answered.  When I asked "Which financial services?", she said "Financial Services."  When I asked the same question again, she hung up.  I used *69 to get the number calling me.

I, too, just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer and the caller didn't leave a message.  I immediately google any number I don't recognize, and Google brought me immediately to this site.  Screen your calls, scammers on the prowl.

They've called a number of times.  Left one message that basically said what everyone else is reporting.  Act now to lower the interest rate on your credit card.........the last few times they did not leave a message.  I've reported them but it apparently has done no good.

same # as all the above. the not in service recording is not even the correct recording that the phone system uses. trully a way to make a scam somehow. file the fcc complaint

Automated voice said, "HELLO.  DON'T BE ALARMED!  THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE FOR LOWER INTEREST RATES."  I hung up.  It's a scam!

Called the home number while I was at work.  Didn't leave message.  I'm sure they'll call back and then I can play "Have Fun with the Telemarketer" again.

THey keep calling my number and do not leave a message.  I am on the Do Not Call List.

We got a call from this number and it was the recording. I couldn't hear most of it because of background noise(this is a warehouse)and the recording talked so fast. No person came on the line so I could get a repeat of the message. I immediately went on this website and got all your responses. I called the FTC number and they are very familiar with this call. They gave me the number for the CA consumer complaint office 1-800-952-5225 to file a complaint in CA. The FTC agent said they were violating many laws in there phone calls.

I get these calls all the time, I am also on the do not call list and have spent much time listing these freaks that thave nothing better to do with their time than call people and hang up. So my question is why the do not call list? they seem to ignore it anyway, the phone companies that sell number that are no longer in service and allow people to use them for this purpose should be held accountable some how.

They called my house at 7:03am this morning, waking up my 2 year old and 3 year old... NOT very Happy!

I called and got the same message, that the number had been disconnected!  If it is, I better not see it show up on my phone again!

Scumbag ID thieves. It should be illegal and impossible to send phone calls with a fake number displayed to the sender.

got a call today from these people.  I listened & pressed to talk to the rep.  When I told the guy to take my name off his call list he said " I'll talk to you tomorrow".  I said "No, don't talk to me at all, ever, take my name off the list".  He responded with "then don't answer your phone".  I hung up & reported to the do not call site.  Then came here only to find out it seems nothing can be done.

850-473-1276 I get unwanted unsoliated calls from this number & I stay on the line to complain they hang up when I say no more calls

I just received the "today is the last day for lower interest on your account" call again. Exact same recording as from 850-473-1276 in Florida. Was told on 7-22-08 that I would be put on the do not call list. This call was from 506-225-1054 in New Brunswick.
