As many before me have stated, I get this call about once a week and they never leave a message....I live in AZ and they call around 8am!!! Its very annoying, if they are a scam the least they can do is play along with it and not hang up on us and give us a chance to annoy them back :) I did not try to call it back but if they keep calling I will call and give them hell!

I was ALSO called by this number. They attempted to commit some type of credit card scam, by promising to lower my interest rate.

I didn't get to answer the call, no message left.  When I called back it says that it has been disconnected.  I called back at 5 pm today, they called at 2:54 today

I got a call from this number today May 22rd 2008.  They called me 4 time sin my cell phone #.   I did not answer, but called them back and it says the number was disconnected.

Same as the rest. Called today and went into voice mail prompt but did not leave a message.

I stopped just calling back on these types of things because I don't want my call to be flipped to 900 / or toll call somewhere. That happened to me several years ago and it took me 9 months to get the $100 credited.

I just received a call from this number. Weird cause I didn't recognize the number, but since I have the caller tunes it only rang once. Curious I googled the number. I'm glad I did, and I didn't call it back..

I recently received a call from this number as well.  It was made to my cell phone and just like many of you - when I called back it was disconnected.  I have received calls like this from other telephone numbers and was told that the reason the call comes in to my phone but comes up as disconnected when I call back is that it is a telemarketing scam placed through an internet connection.  The connection could be being placed from anywhere in the world.  Some of these scams can get very involved - people claiming to be from your banking institution, etc.  In the event that you actually encounter a live person on one of these calls never give your personal information. I encourage you to report the number to the FCC Website offered a few posts back.

I got the exact same call yesterday. They said that they could lower my interest rates as well. The funny thing is that they were immediately uninterested when I said I was near my limit on my cards. They probably try to get your information so that they can empty your account.

They called my cell phone in Arizona today. Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. Been getting calls from more of these scam/scum artists lately too. There must be lists of our phone numbers going around to these jerks.

juisty had a missed call friom this number and thinking it was my friend in iraq i called it back, but it said that the number is no longer in service.

I was here at work when it came through on my cell, but I missed the call...I don't know anyone with the 850 area code so I looked it up to see if it was something that was important.  thankfully, I stumbled on this website to learn about who was on the other line. How did they get these numbers? Has our cell phone companies given out our numbers?  I have Verizon...anyone else???

I did, too.  Just now.  I ignored it.  But I googled the number right away, and brought me straight to this website.  Good to know that I'm not alone in this - bad to know it's reached so many people ...

Yeah me too, about half an hour ago.  Freaking telemarketers.  Not enough that they call you at home, but now they want to use up our cell minutes too?

just got a call 10 min ago from them. Didn't pick up, then googled their #. Stupid ppl. I have sprint.

I just received a call from this number also and didn't pick up..I usually don't pick up calls that I do not recognize the number and they did not leave a voicemail.  So, I googled it and got this page and I'm glad I did not pick up...

A phone call came in on one of our cell phones this AM.  We did not answer the phone, but wrote down the number, as we don't want to get telemarketer calls on our cell phones.  When I dialed back on the regular phone I got a disconnected phone message.

Just received a call from this number and was hung up on so i called back and no luck so i googled the number...unlike everyone else who have said they didnt know which credit card it was for the specifically stated mine...kinda scary.

I just got a call from this number today too, on my cell phone so it's still going around. I hung up, but decided to search the number since it seems strange.
