Called 8-23-2008 @ 11:58, left no message.  Sounds like a scam from reading previous posts on this very valuable site.

I get calls from this # too.  It seems they use different numbers.  I just deleted a different number which calls regularly as well from Pennsacola.  Never a message and I never pick up. Sometimes my caller id reads Pennsacola, other times just this number.

If any of you have been tempted to push "1" to talk to a real person and to figure out just who the heck they really are should listen to this guy who recorded his conversation with "Todd" from Credit Card Services http://www.matthew4.com/

Below are the numbers and times I've received calls in the last few weeks.  They call my cell phone which is current on the Do Not Call list.

Notice the numbers are 11 digits, not 10.  Calling it back confirms it’s a fake number.  This company has called me dozens of times over the last year; the phone numbers have varied starting with 44, 310, etc., all 11 digits.  The recording says it's my final notice to lower an interest rate.  When I push “1” to talk to a person I plead with them to take me off their calling list telling them I’ll never do business with them and so let’s not waste each others time.  The last woman said to push "2" instead of "1" to get off the list which I did the next time they called and it didn't work, I soon got another call from them.  There are 1000s of complaints online related to this company.

When I push them they've told me the company name is "Card Services" or "Credit Card Services" or "Account Services."  About a year ago I tried to press a few of the callers for more company info without giving them too much of my info but they are well trained and know the point to hang up.

One lady even yelled at ME for wasting HER time!

I submitted another complaint with FCC/Do Not Call List today.

This is worth listening to.  This guy spent 40 minutes ("hold" times are edited out) on the phone with "todd" and "gary" from Credit Card Services:  http://www.matthew4.com/

Wanted my credit card number so they could get me a cheaper interest rate.  Then they asked if I would punch in my SS# so they could get through to the operater and that's when the light when on that I was being scammed.  Asked them for thier Company name "Account Services", google'd it, and found SCAM written all over the page.
The guy called the first time from a 228 area code and then called me again from a 407 area code.  I told him I knew what they were up to and I have all their numbers, and to stop calling me and lose my information.
If you try to call the numbers back a recording comes on and says that this is not a working number.

Same thing here...they just called me again today and i thought i would check into it, the more questions they asked, the more i got curious as to how this was "so easy" to do. I told the guy i was talking to that i was googling his company as we speak and they're listed as a total scam...explain that. and he completely got an attitude problem with me, became rude, etc. i never was, i just simply told him what i saw and asked the question. I told him to [***] and hung up. I called my credit card company and had them note the account so incase there was fraud activity, it could be pointed back to them. these people are rediculous.
