I answered but no one was there.

I also received this call and called it back.  It says that it has been disconnected.  I googled it and found this.

This call was an attempt to sell me an automobile extended warranty. I assume my home phone number was provided to these telemarketers by the dealership I purchased a new car from in 2005, because these same telemarketers phone me a my work number virtually every other day.

These people do NOT stop calling, my last two calls were on July 26th, and July 30, 2008.  I live in Macomb County Michigan, and made the mistake of answering the first call, where a woman said "do not hang-up, there is a problem with your loan here in Pensacola, FL", then I quickly hung-up.  Please note that my credit is considered "Excellent", and I am registered with the "Do-Not-Call Registry", and have an unlisted telephone number, yet these people have been getting through for over a year now.  Sick Of It!!!

I got a call from this number 850-473-1276 with the ID Pensacola FL while I was at work. Unfortunately no message was left so I could have more details to report it to the FCC. After goolgling the number, got this website. Good to know it's a scam. I'm on the state and federal Do Not Call lists so I will report it.

Called my California area code 805 business number but left no message.

Same as many others her: pressed the # to talk to somebody to find out who these lowlifes are, but it just disconnected. Reported it to the FTC. I told the woman at the FTC that I am on the Do-Not-Call list and have been for years. She said I need to renew that every year. That's news to me.

I received a call from this number shown on my caller id. I looked it up and complaints showed that it was a credit card company which I did not solicit

Received call from 1-850-473-1276.  Caller ID said Florida.  I'm on DNC list but sometimes answer just to see who it is or to, frankly, give them a hard time.  Had same experience as others above with recording re lowering (unspecified) interest rates, so pressed "1" to talk to someone who answered National Financial Services.  When I asked what prior business relationship we had that allowed them to call me even though I'm on the DNC list, he said to give him my number and he'd put on theirs.  I said being on the nationwide one should be enough and hung up.

I'm more mad at myself than at PCI --- because I answered a call made by an ID I didn't recognize.  (I hung up immediately after realizing the voice was a recording.  All I caught was something about interest rates.)

But this is the fourth different unwanted number I've received calls from this year (not counting "Private Calls" that I never answer on principle).  My number must be on some kind of list or something.  Why can't it be on the Publishers' Clearing House Sweepstakes Winners List?  I promise: I WILL answer that call!

received a call at 7:17 AM.  AGAIN.... I don't answer unknown calls. No message left.  I statred using an air horn on calls like this because I get so many of them.  I'm registered on the do not call list but that doesn't seem to matter. I attempted to register a complaint via the registery but for some reason I can't get past the first page of questions even with all the fields filled in propperly ??? I'll just keep doing what I do  :)

I got a call from them. I did not answer and did not get a message. I googled the number and found out a great number of other people have gotten these calls. How flippin' annoying.

hey, my boyfriend told me to look the number up.  he just got a call today from it, but didn't answer because he was at work.  never knew they had pages for this stuff. nice to know.  THANK YOU!!!

8/1/08 1:30 pst rec'd recorded mssg saying "press 1 to speak to rep about lower interest rate on your current credit card, or press 2 to end further offers". I pressed 2, and it hung up. I called the number, but it has been disconnected. Thought it was a scam, and it seems it is. I hope they don't call back.

Told us to call in today to get a new rate on our account. Did not say who they were. The caller ID showed it was from Pensacola. Florida and the number was 1 850 473 1276

I got a call from this number and was hung up on.  When i called it back it said the number was disconnected or no longer in service.

These people have called multiple times with a callerid of 'Pensacola, Fla' and a telephone number of "850-473-1276."  It is obviously a scam and in direct violation of the Do Not Call Registry.  I used to scrupulously report calls like this to the FCC, but they always determine there is nothing they can do because the telephone number is non-existent.  What's wrong with this picture.
