Rcv several calls from Jonathan Stewart threatening to come to my house and place of employement. I just moved into this house, it's a new number. I called back after the 2nd rude phone message only to be harassed by the person who answered on the other line 855-393-3793 and as another person mentioned... made fun of me. I have no debt, these people are SCAMMERS. I requested to be taken off of their call list only to be told there is no list... I owe them money and to pay up. I filed a complaint with the BBB, FCC, and State of NY Attorney General. BEWARE... file a complaint, it's the only way to put these SCAMMERS in their place.

I received a threating messag from them. I called the number back and said the call was being recorded the guy on that had answerd said no i could not record the call a d hung up

I just received a call from 855-393-3793 telling me this is their 2nd attempt to a summons for a missed court appearance. I did not call them back but called my local police dept. and clerk of courts that said it was not in their records of any missed appearance. I just found this online and am glad to see it's not legit...So annoying. Have people got nothing better to do? Thanks for posting this.

call on friday July 12, recorded message, unable to catch all of it from a blocked number of 0000000, same message as others. Jonathan Stewart .. blah blah summons.. call this number. Since I wasnt able to catch all of the information, I did nothing assuming if a summons was issued it would arrive and a copy in my postal mail box from the clerk of the court.

Next call,  July 15th afternoon, (no summons has been served) left voicemail since i didnt pick it up. Stated he had a summons to delivery in 24-48 hrs have 2 forms of id...... for questions or concerns contact the filing party at........ I have no concerns or questions.. why should i call?

Today July 23.. left voice message again " this is my second attempt to get this summons out to you, if you fail to response this could turn into a missed court appearance due to your failure to respond. i am going to make a final attempt to serve this summons today so i need you to make yourself available. if you have any questions or concerns contact the filing party at...."  Ok, Im available.. as I am every day of the week.

I am patiently waiting for my summons to show up so I can have my legal rep address it. After reading, I am not calling some bill collection that gets rude or tries to scam me. I dont owe any bills except those that are current. I check my credit report, nothing there recorded so no identity theft i can see.

A google search for legal caring services only brings up this forum with everyone saying the same. SCAM.. no follow-ups from anyone to the resolution, if they did get a summons, My plan is to do a little investigation, and probably ignore it until it irks me to file a complaint with the AG and with the FED. or in the unlikely event I do get a summons, hand it over to my attorney and address it if appropriate.

i got a call from these guys about a debt that i had paid over 5 years ago. they are getting ahold of bad debt and i googled their address it appears to be some little 5 man team that tries to scare people into paying old past debts.

Have had exact same experiences as others here. Called 855 393 3793 from a pay phone (NOT from personal or work phone). Told woman who answered that I was familiar with how process servers serve summons and that I had complained to the National Do Not Call Registry. She hung up.

Debt collectors are required to: 1) give you written notice containing details about debt due and; 2)  30 days to respond, to either contest the debt or to pay the debt without penalty.

Process servers NEVER call ahead. They are paid to show up at your doorstep and serve papers. They then provide formal written, notarized proof to the court that the papers were served.

"Jonathan Stewart's" calls display on my cell as 000 000 000, which is an utterly bogus number. "Stewart" never address me by name and in fact does not know my name or location.

DO NOT VOLUNTEER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE FROM SWANSON, WALKER & ASSOC'S.

INSIST THAT ALL COMMUNICATION BE IN WRITING! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS, NAME, PHONE NUMBER, OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION. IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT, THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO YOU.

Incidentally, I checked the address of Swanson, Walker & Assoc's (555 S Transit Rd, Lockport NY) with the street view on Google Maps. There is absolutely no structure or building at that address that corresponds to the picture of a big, grey, imposing building on their internet site. That big, grey menacing building does not exist.

I keep getting calls from this 855-393-3793 number, they call my work and other family members, Threatening that i have missed a court date, and i will be receiving a summonds, I owe nobody anything so i know it's not real! plus I have never given my work or any others # out to anyone. how can this be legal ?? how can I stop this, it's rediculous and not fair for my coworkers or family to ahve to deal with.

I got a call from this number regarding the same crap but the name was different. I think it was Anthony Matthews this time. Anyway im almost certain this is fake and people dont need to worry about it. I usually ignore 800 numbers anyway.

This governmental agency levies hefty fines on businesses that call numbers on the do-not-call list. Fines are over $10,000 per call. It is run by the Federal Trade Commission.

First you have to register your phone numbers. The only personal information you need to submit is an email address and the phone numbers you want listed. Then when somebody violates the list by calling you, you can complain on line. It works: I have not received any telemarketing calls since I registered.

The calls on behalf of Swanson, Walker & Assoc.'s, 855 393 3793, are a form of unsolicited harassment & fraud. When I called this company anonymously from a pay phone, I told the woman who answered that I had complained to the National Do Not Call Registry and she immediately hung up.

Further, you can check with your state's debt collection laws and consumer affairs department. There are restrictions on how aggressively debt collectors are allowed to pursue the debtors. You can also complain to the office of the attorney general  in your state.

Fed up,  I think they are fined  16K  per violation.   Regardless, Thank you for your post.

If everybody who's posted on this site complained to the National Do Not Call Registry, Swanson, Walker & Assoc.'s would be shut down & heavily fined. It costs nothing and takes practically no time.

Nope I just got a phone from them today!!!!

I have received this message from JOHN STEWART saying he was going to attempt to collect a debt, needed to forms of ID and he would serve me at my business or home. The first time I didn't write the call back number down. When he called with the second attempt I wrote the number down so I could check into it. Googled the number and found these remarks. Thank Goodness!!! I was freaking out!!! I'm relieved I don't have something I didn't know about coming after me. :)

MY call came from 213-271-9210... No messages?? Same place?

I gotcthe same phone call but mine was from an Aaron Matthews. It said he had a summons that he was going to be delivering within the next 24-48 hours either to my house or my place of business. I first wS freaking out because I did not know what it could have been about. Then I looked up legal caring services and read all of these posts. Thank you everyone for sharing your stories on this matter. I know it helped me not get scammed by these people. And to everyone else who gets theses messages do not pay any money. Check with the courts and the police departments to see if there are any actual court day if you are worried about it. The number that they game me to call was an 877-861-3758.

same here he keeps call me on my cell how did they even get my number ??? say hes Jonathan Stewart and He is threatening me on my cell phone message saying that he had a summons in hand and that he would be visiting our house in the next 24 to 48 hrs that was a week ago then today can I block the # on my cell?

Jonathan Stewart from Legal Caring Services who claimed he had a summons and would be serve his summons either at place of employment or my home.  He also stated that my supervisor or security would need to be available to sign off ion my behalf and required two forms of ID. I don't work and all my mail go's to my PO Box my bills are payed online, only pg&e bill come to my home that's IT keeps call me on my cell how did they even get my number ??? can I block it
