- Sunny hancock replies to vernon, florida resident| 1 replyI also just received the same call and recording from 000-000-0000 message from Jonathan Stewart from Legal Caring Services who claimed he had a summons and would be serve his summons either at place of employment or my home. He also stated that my supervisor or security would need to be available to sign off ion my behalf and required two forms of ID. This is truly a SCAM!!!! My family members are ALL in law enforcement and attorneys.. They have no legal recourse against anyone and do not fall victim to these turkey's. Tomorrow my brother in law plans to place these idiots on notice to cease all future calls or face legal action.
- BK from KS w an OK # replies to whistle blower| 2 repliesSame thing today... called the better business bureau on them months ago. Then Jonathan Stewart called me again today about a debt from 2000... said he will serve me papers. Not worth calling back
- BK again replies to BK from KS w an OK #I mean, this Jonathan guy initially got in contact with me by telling my mom, and my step mom (who had an unlisted number) that there was a work complaint about me and I needed to call his number. and when I confronted him about it, he said that I was crazy.that is when I called the Better Business Bureau. then 3 months later, he calls me on my cell phone during a work meeting to tell me thst he is serving me at home or at work.
- duh replies to TThis must be written by one of the scammers
- kristysame exact message as everyone else. Jonathan Stewart showing up at my house or job within 48 hrs. have to give payment to stop him from coming.

- Kimberly G| 2 repliesApparently Jonathan Stuart (Stewart) is going to be a very busy man over the course of the next 24 to 48 hours - hope he ate his Wheaties and am enjoying the fact that they are spending their dimes on these wasted efforts because it appears that the majority of folks just aren't buying his crap. This is probably the third time I've had these same types of calls - I called the first one back and got the run around described above and have never seen any type of default judgement or other true debt collection results out of the other two so I'm filing this one in the same category. Low life scum living off of the fear of others rather than go out and find a real job.

- Kimberly G replies to Kimberly GSo I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and urge others to do the same and I asked that the phone services (855-393-3793 and 213-271-9210) be terminated; I also attached the message that they voluntarily left on my voicemail (which means it isn't an illegal recording of a conversation).

It's not much but if I can possibly help to ruin their day, so be it...
Supposedly, this bureau is going to reach out to the company itself and then refer the case to whatever government agency is best suited to address it. If it were a real debt collection attempt, they would be acting as mediator.
Oh, by the way, they give preference protection services to members of the military and their family so if you are one, be sure to let them know that (it's part of the 'submit a claim' process). - Kimberly G replies to Charliedon't you love Vonage messaging?
Please read my note above and submit a claim and attach that transcription!! - Carl Kennedy| 1 replyThis bogus number has began calling, and harassing my home, and this person (Jonathan Stewart) has somehow acquired my social security number. Not only do I want this to STOP, I want them to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Oh, and by the way, my name is NOT Carl Kennedy Jr!

- diana replies to Ron| 1 replyI received the exact same call and told him about the statue of limitations and he got pissed off...started ranting and raving and said he will see me in court and then hung up on me! CHILD PLEASE!
- Doubly Done WrightDo NOT call these people back because it only verifies to them that you and your number are legit and you'll be forever saved in their database and possibly sold to other outfits like this. Don't call them for any reason. They don't care who they hurt. They have no soul will do anything legal and illegal to get you to hand over your finances to them. I never answer any number I don't recognize or is blocked. Mostly every phone made today has voicemail. Take advantage of it.
I can't stress this enough: do NOT call back!! There are all sorts of reverse phone number lookups they use to track you down. Are you on Facebook? Well if you called them back you better erase your name from every internet entry you've ever made. Simply ignoring the call will fix most of this.
This goes with telemarketers who call and when you answer are immediately on hold. These are computerized mass calling systems that once you answer and or press the number the recording asks you then you automatically saved your number and name in their database to use as they please and to resell to other scammers. DON'T ANSWER and DON'T call back!!- Caller: Legal Caring Services 855-393-3793

- Doubly Done Wright...AND DON'T click on any banner that says you can check your arrest record or who found you on Facebook or whatever. If you move your mouse over the banner the address on the bottom of the screen will be where you'll go. Again, if you don't recognize it then ignore it. Those banners can record your individual computer's MAC address and who knows what they'll be able to track about you.

- anonymous replies to dianaI see the same posts over and over about Jonathan Stewart, but does anyone know what to do to get them to STOP. I am very ill and am getting these calls every other day or so. What do I do to get them to stop?
- Duh123Was called by an automated voice saying I was going to be served at my house or my work and that all involved would have to have ID ( 855-393-3793). When I called back they said I owed a credit card debt and the last time there had been a payment was in February 2009. When I told them that Was not true they said they were going to serve me and garnish my wages. Never once did they use any of the FAIR TRADE COMMISION RULES in fact they denied being a collection agency. They couldn't give me any proof of the debit they said they didn't have to that it was up to me to prove them wrong. Brian Jackson was so threatening to myself and the people at my bank. Shame on him. He told me they had to rush because their attorneys wanted their money!!!! I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

- Ty JackI received the automated call as well and did not receive a summons. I contacted the company and was told information about my debt (again from 2009 and not mine) would be emailed to me. This did not happen. I am working with lawyers on prior debt and relayed this information to them.
Today I received a second automated message regarding missing the first summons attempt and a missing court date. I called again and a man identified himself as the Senior Paralegal. He told me my "case manager" would talk to me as he only speaks to people "who are paying their debts". The lady who answered refused to email me information and told me that she would only talk to my lawyers. She then became flustered when I pressed her for more information and hung up on me (very professional for a legal service)
I returned the hang up call and was told by the Senior Paralegal that she "doesn't want to talk to me" (see the pattern of professionalism here). He then began to try to bully me by saying, "Listen. Don't you call here and..." Obviously I hung up after telling him this was a scam. I did provide the information to my lawyers in hopes that they can get these guys to stop calling.
PLEASE... PLEASE... If you receive a call from these guys, fill out a complaint with the FTC. We can get these guys shut down but you HAVE to file the complaint!- Caller: Swanson Walker

- Cenia KI have received two calls from this person. He is very threatening and rude when he leaves a voicemail! Claiming that "I NEED TO MAKE MYSELF AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY BEFORE HE PRESSES FURTHER SUIT AGAINST ME." hahaha.. I am not falling for this SCAM!
- scammers are scumMy mom contacted the police here in texas and the cop called the number and was able to get a hold of the guy. The Jonathan Stewart guy said he would stop and apologized. I think it's all a scam but maybe if more people go to the cops and report it this scammer would build up a report? I don't know??? Probably just change numbers and/or change names and keep on scamming. I just really do not like that my elderly mother felt intimidated. She's savvy enough to not fall for telephone scams or anything but the intimidation factor is infuriating.
