- JPCall from a customer service company hired by TD Bank. Anytime you interact with a TD rep in the branch or on the phone there is a random chance you will be contacted for a survey on the customer service. If you don't answer, they don't leave a message. They will try to call back every day for about a week then remove you from the list. They have done this for more than 10 years and I get about one call a year.
- Caller: Greenwich on behalf of TD

- DBI've gotten four calls in the last 3 days from this number and ignored them all because toll-free numbers (supposedly toll-free numbers from what I've read here) usually try to scam you into something or just otherwise waste your time. I'd love to know how they get cellphone numbers to spam. Is it possible to put cellphones on the Federal Do Not Call list?

- LindsayI am also a TD bank customer and got 2 calls today. First time I didn't answer, then I looked it up here, and the 2nd time I did answer. It seemed very legit, and like someone else mentioned, it seems like a 3rd party company taking a survey of your most recent visit. They did not ask me for my email or any other information, but asked me about my most recent visit which they knew was 2 days ago in another city/state (they gave the exact branch location). They just asked me to rate my experience, the staff, etc from a scale of 1 to 7. I was prepared to hang up if I thought it was a scam but it seemed OK to me!

- Sam KCoresential is a Market Research Company;
The phone calls you're receiving are on behalf of clients that hire them. TD is one of their main clients; they are given a random list of numbers BY TD bank to call to complete the survey. They don't ask for your personal information. The people who work there dialling don't ever even see your phone number on their screen, just your name, and the address of the branch they're calling in reference to. The reason they don't leave messages is because the system is set up to hang up after 5 rings and move on automatically to the next call to improve efficiency. All someone has to do is pick up and ask to be taken off the list or state they're not interested in doing the survey, and the calls will stop.
I might add that it's in your best interest to do this in as polite a manner as possible; these people are simply doing their jobs, and someone who is rude on to the interviewer is less likely to have said interviewer code their call in the desired manner.
Also, Coresential is able to call those who are on no-call lists because their numbers are provided to them by the client (aka TD bank). - ShayI received a call from this # today. If what ur saying that it's a td bank survey that is not legitimate I'd say it may be somethin from a hacker with Verizon. I used to pay my Verizon wireless bill with my td bank debit card. I no longer have Verizon but kept my Verizon cell #.

- howie replies to PeterRe: jehovas witness. I have found there is no need to be as rude as you have described if you want them to leave you alone. The most effective strategy I have ever seen and used for the past 30 years is as follows. As soon as they ask their first question, doesn't really matter what the question is, simply say
" I'm just not interested." The statement works for any response, is not judgemental or impolite. If you get an individual who doesn't get the message after you have said this three times simply say: "I feel I am being harrassed by you and I may need to phone the police if you don't leave." Again, no disrespect just a simple statement.
As I said, I have used this strategy for over 30 years and it works. As for your method, do all Catholics have to treat other religions with as much disrespect as you have demonstrated in your post? Shame on you and your 'great teacher'. - Andrew replies to AlI think you are correct. I too use TD Bank, but my cell phone doesn't have an area code near where TD Bank is located. The only way to make a connection between my number and TD Bank is if TD Bank has been hacked.
- volleygirlI just got a call on my cell phone from this # so I added it in my contact list as Do Not Answer. No message left and when I called back (before I looked it up) it was a busy signal luckily.
