- JamesNumber called yesterday and left no message. After reading a few of the legitimate comments and ignoring the misleading ones (855 is a toll free prefix, you will not get charged for the call!!!!), I managed to figure out that this number probably belongs to a survey company that does customer service surveys for various banks in Canada and the US.
- Call type: Survey
- Ashley| 1 replyJust got a call from them today. I didn't answer and they left no message. I tried to call back but the line was busy. I see a lot of posts saying that they are TD Bank, but I do not have an account with them so I'm not sure why they would be calling.....
- pennieThis number called me four times already today. I never answered and the call never went to voice mail.
- oldgot two calls within half an hour, answered and immediately hung up
- Sir Bedevere replies to AshleyIt's probably not TD Bank themselves — most likely an independent survey-taking company subcontracted by TD Bank. It's unlikely that TD is their only client so in your case they're probably calling on behalf of another business.
Regardless, their practice of using misleading Caller ID makes them "questionable", ethically, from the start. I also have a big problem with businesses that do their consumer surveys by phone in any form: It's intrusive, annoying and makes the consumer take the survey at the convenience of the caller, not the consumer.
We recently had Anderson windows installed in our home and a week later received a consumer satisfaction survey about the experience. It came by mail. So WE could decide when and if to complete it at our own convenience. THAT'S how to treat customers. - christine antonikKnown Idea who this is
- TORONCAHLCJust got the phone call from this No.He said he was doing some survey from TD BANK and needed 5 mins.I told him I am happy with TD services and do not call me anymore.
- DanielleThis number keeps calling me and is threatening me with a summons and legal action and I have nothing like that against me. When I ask who they are and what company they are with they get even nastier. This needs to stop please do something!!!!!!

- Caller: TD BANK

- 855-496-4285 EmployeeFor all the disappointed, angry people here, I should inform that the number is from an Opinion Research Company through which Toronto Dominion's 5-minute courtesy calls are being made. No, your brance may not be aware of these surveys cause these are being processed through the main Branch of Toronto Dominion who evaluate each branch's service offered to clients like you who can't get the 3-5 minutes to appreciate their customer service or.. sometimes, raise their voice against any complaint or whatsoever.
No, it's not any fraud. Just.. sit back now relaxed and take a deep breath. You have the choice to SAY NO TO A SURVEY but just for your information, we always get 10-12 clients per hour who do take the time to complete this short survey with enthousiasm.
--Cheering employee of 5 years - John replies to JimYour really dumb because I used to work at this Call Center that makes those calls which your talking about, and TD Bank / TD Canada Trust is a CLIENT of CORSENTIAL which all we do is customer satisfaction short surveys about the service if only pricks like you took the time to just listen to what they say you would see yourself that they DONT ASK any personal information and ANY information they ask is only to evaluate the service to improve the customer satisfaction. Basically were doing you a favor and we get your numbers and names from TD themselves. All you had to do was pick up hear us out and just say UR NOT INTERESTED so we can leave you alone and obviously if youdont pick up and whine about on the net we're gonna keep calling. It's simple people, if you dont want to do a survey or if ur too dumb to analyze yourself that THIS IS LEGIT then just say word by word: I'M NOT INTERESTED or PLEASE PUT MY NAME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST!
- John replies to Peterjust for your information, td bank and td canada trust provides us with their names and numbers with different studies to evaluate td's customer service and products, its an interview as we call it and there is no personal information whats so ever we ask you a few questions you rate them on a scale of 1-7 and give your opinion and actually a lot of people do it and appreciate us calling because were actually getting their opinions to help your local branch if you want to continue thinking its a fraud or what ever than your the ignorant one, how can we fraud anything with your name and number and knowing that you go to a td bank do you know how many td banks they are and how many customers like i always reply this to the ones who think im gona steal their information and yet then theyre like oh ok continue..... so next time hear the fkn introduction if you have no time litterly tell us im not interested and well code it as a not interested call and the computer wont call back easy simple as that but since people are too ignorant they will continue on complaning and being miserable while were making moneyyyyy $$$$$$$$$$$$$
