Guy said his name was OMAR from TD Bank; wanting to do a survey. Sounds like a call to steal your ID. I hung up!

Have seen this number pop up several times over the last few days.  I never answer unlisted or calls from a 800 range area code.  I have people pestering me all the time for banking surveys and I always refuse because I don't have the time and for security reasons.  If I'm not happy with the service at a bank we use, I tell them directly and if it doesn't improve I fire them.  They don't need some third party to tell them how I feel.

Received call today from this number asking about my last visit at my bank and the person name  I talked to. Hung up

Received call from this number today 4xs approximately every 40 mins. Didn't answer and no mess. left.
Caller ID showed Unavailable on all 4 calls.

Call just came from 855-4964285 -- did not pick up.  Glad to know who it's from!  Now blocked.

My phone shows that it's from US as well. I didn't pick up.

So it is a legit survey for TD cusotmers, that's COOL. Now, living in the age of scams, fraud and identity theft, how could a normal person answer such call and participate in survey and make sure we don't give out personal information? I'm sure survey asks few basic questions such as name and so on?

Because of this we treat all calls as hostile until identified as friendly. So come up with a genius way to do survey that guarantees identity of person doing the survey and I will gladly participate. Until then, all calls are treated as hostile and such.

Rcv'd a call from this number at 9.23 Local MT town WHAT A JOKE.   I am an early riser for work, 4AM and there should be laws against calling this late, for spam and causing an issue. I have reported to my phone company to block calls form this number, addign to the list of other SPAMMERS I am paying to block...... JOKE

Funny, I never got called before on my cell phone from anyone I did not give out my PRIVATE number too. However, recently I included my number on a google email which I use for Business only. Now , I am getting these calls - does it have something to do with it - don't know , but....  BTW I didn't pick it up - thank goodness.

It was only TD Canada Trust about my most recent trip to the bank.  They didn't ask any personal information only to verify that I did indeed visit a branch.

Called & left no message. Thanks to all of you it is some B/S hoax!

OK mine just rang again today from same number.

This time person asked for one in charge of ordering office supplies. Did I give TD permission to participate in other unrelated surveys or is this a scam? I'ts getting suspicious now. Is TD selling information to make side money?

I got 11 calls from this number a couple weeks ago in the same day, finally answered at 930pm and told them I didn't have time. They called me yesterday again 7 times without a voicemail or anything. When I try to call back, the number is always busy. It's infuriating. The said it was my bank, but called me looking for a survey then asked me my acct numbers?

This is a phone call from TD Bank.  They call you to see if you will take a survey and give feedback on their customer service.  Relax...!  ;-D

Not to put too fine a point on it Vera, but you're a lying pimp. You've posted the same message numerous times, reiterating basically the same lie.
This is a phishing scam pure and simple. Anyone who answers their (Your?) survey is a prime candidate for a rip-off.

It's Friday night.  My phone just rang.  I didn't answer it.  They left no message.  The call was
around 8:30 pm, EST..  I don't see where anyone on this site identified the number.

Right no bank employee will ask for an account number through the phone. But then criminals hiding in places like South Asia, South East Asia, Central America and Africa will pretend to be part of a bank, ask surveys first and then an account number or a credit card number. If tables were turned in the right direction, criminals will get their boiler rooms shut down, their computers, VOIP and spoofing softwares taken away, and they'll be kept in a cage in their respective countries.

Are you people simple?  I don''t care about the charge.  I want to know who is calling.  I will contact
the government on Monday.

Who is making these calls??  Why?    They are Con Artists??
