My cell phone just received a call from this number.
I've had them before some months back, answered once and told them the name they were looking for was not here.
Cell number is a northeast NJ area code number I've had since 2004 at least.
Have no idea who had it before me or if someone just pulled that number out of the air when getting a loan/applying for credit/purchasing an item on credit and stiffed on the debt but the calls have been happening on and off over years now.

Well folks, the NEW debt collector name is Eddie Watson.  Said he was trying to collect a debt , I don't know for what and I don't care.

The man's English was SO bad, you couldn't even understand what the heck he was saying!  I had to listen to message 10 times before I could understand was he was saying!!

Maybe we should start call him at his number of 877-677-255 and harass him with calls!

Advice, just block these calls.  If he becomes a nuisance, as they are, report them to the BBB.  What good are they?  Another government agency that does nothing and collects a paycheck!

Received a call from 866-224-9824 about a debt owed. First off, don't blindly ask for my account information and expect me to hand it over without verification. Secondly, don't threaten me if I refuse to give it to you. Thirdly, don't expect me to turn over a single penny if you aren't willing to provide verification of the account, company, or debt.

This company and a guy by the name of "Devon" called me repeatedly over a four week time frame demanding payment for a debt. When I asked for a letter of verification for the debt he gave me a speech about how it would take weeks to get that to me and I should just pay the money now. Next he tried to tell me that the debt owed was over a thousand dollars more than what I had documented. We engaged the services of a lawyer to dispute this and when informed of this the mysterious "Devon" and KD Auto Finance miraculously stopped calling.

Hello everyone who has been receiving calls from Northstar or anyone else.  I am in the same situation as most of you.  As to phone calls to my cell phone, the solution after several tries with different apps is the 'Call Control' app.  It is free.  It is customizable but the the basics are easy.  After downloading this app (and if you are unsure if it is safe google Call Control) it will automatically block all calls not in your calling list.  You many also block individual numbers with the "blocked list" option.  Additionally I have activated Do Not Disturb and set it to 24/7 which is essentially the same thing as blocking all numbers in your calling list.   Doing that requires the caller to breach two barriers of accessing your phone.  Sometimes my phone will flash for a second or two and then disappears. I have the option activated for "hangup" rather than have it go to voice mail.  Since installing the app on my Android phone (don't know about iPhone or other phones) I have not had a single call go through.  Here is the link to Call Control   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flexaspect.android.everycallcontrol&hl=en     I hope this helps all who are getting harassed.

Don't throw stones in a glass house.  Why would you call someone else stupid when you can't even use proper grammar?  I also can't believe that any reputable company would be pleased to hear that one of their employees is calling a customer "stupid." Northstar must not have very high standars for the employees they hire, and that speaks volumes about their company, in my opinion.

Just got a call from this number looking for Noel Anderson.  Never heard of him but when I asked the person on the other line what number they were dialing they couldn't say.  What is wrong with that picture!😁😖 Third annoying call today from 866 or 800 numbers.  Doesn't it count for something to be registered on the National do not call list.  What part of Do Not Call do they not understand.  It is my home phone that I pay money for not them.  What happened to correspondence through the mail and registered letters??
