Keep getting calls on my office phone from Joe Bagliery, Northstar - 1-866-224-9824.  He never identifies himself or his company, or advises that he is a collection agency.  He has been told before to stop calling my employers phone number.

62k - Wow - you're a big hitter! Don't brag about that....it reflects your intelligence. I used to make a way more than that, however the new economy hit many of us. People got those loans you are collecting in better times when they qualified, otherwise the loan would not have been granted. So be a little more understanding when you are collecting from a human being who may have fallen on hard times and could choose to pay you so you can make your measly 62k a year so you can brag about nothing or feed themselves and their families.

So funny guy, who would you pay first? When times get better and people get back on their feet most f them will try to pay their debts back. But hopefully, not to you but to the original creditor.

This number: 866-224-9824 has called me twice on my cell phone. I looked up the phone number and so far it looks like it is a collection agency called Northstar. I have not answered the call because I do not answer calls that I do not recognize. Thanks caller ID! But now that I know what the call will consist of, I will be more than happy to answer the call. I will make that person want to quit their job after they speak with me. Please....call me.

This is a collection company not willing to negotiate or talk at all. They are very RUDE, don't identify them self, don't let you speak at all & fighting instead of talking-- like a business should talk to clients-- the worse part is the threats!!!! They called me at 8AM!!!!! My day is officially ruined & I'm reporting these people the guy was a completely animal! I worked in a law firm before & there's no way these people are doing business appropriately.

North Star has contacted me several times at work, in my case it is not a scam I do have a legitamate debt with them.

i got a call from this number looking for a niece that I don't talk to or see very often.  The only way they  could have seen that we know one another is from facebook.  It had better not happen again or I will call the attorney general in my state.

There is no reason to name call.... you are no better of a person to judge anyone....let's be realistic - anyone who took out a payday loan you would be collecting for, also had/has a "real job" or they would not have been able to take out such a loan.... It still does not give you the right to pull an unauthorized credit report. That, my friend, is against the law. So, whether you have a job or not - you are nothing but a criminal.

this tom guy calls my house pretty much daily seeking my husband... he is terrible and should be arrested for his threats... He is smart mouthed and they North star will not go away... regarding a debt from a long time ago which was written off... he will not get a dime...
