I hung up on him- Caller: National Vehicle Headquarters
- eri| 1 replyI'm not sure if I've gotten any calls from them (I tend to ignore calls from 800 #'s if it's not from my bank or something), but I just got the aforementioned green postcard in the mail. Seemed like b.s. since the car is only 6 months old, so I checked with the dealer and they said my warranty is fine. Please don't fall for this.
- eri replies to newbieJust keep an eye on your credit reports to be on the safe side. It's amazing what people can do with not much information.
- Big AlI rec'd a letter from the "National Vehicle Headquarters" in Chesterfield, Mo. trying to coerce me into buying some type of "coverage" for my truck. I figured it was a scam since I did not make any inquiries to these people nor did I even know or care if they existed.
The guy's name on the letter is Tom Droege; program coordinator. So I called Tom. After a bit of polite chit-chat about his company and their offer, I informed Tom that I appreciated his supplying this phone number and especially the address. Now I know where he can be found if I ever again recieve another one of his scam letters or phone calls and that a personal visit me will not be pleasant for him, personally.- Caller: National Vehicle Headquarters

- Ralph replies to alohaI accidentally gave them my vin # can they do anything with that?
- Bluemax replies to esther| 1 replyThis company is definitely NOT a scam. I have personally used them and gotten claims paid for. I have purchased from them 4 times in the past 6 years and it is just not right to call them a scam. They are more like consultants than salesmen and they only use companies backed by A rated insurance companies.
- Joe Medina replies to jamesI have dealt with this company and they are certainly NOT a scam. I recommend them to anyone.
- Ken replies to esther| 5 repliesI agree with Bluemax. You people are paranoid. National Vehicle Headquarters is a good company. The Vice President is Kyle McEvoy and I have spoken to him back when I got my post card in the mail. He was glad to explain everything to me and I would not hesitate to use this company.
Don't be so quick to judge things you people know nothing about. A service contract is a good thing if you get a fair price from a reputable service contract company. - Jack replies to Brandon| 1 replyEvery mile you drive and every day that goes buy your warranty is expiring. I would be more concerned if they new what my vehicle was. I called this company and found out that the earlier you get extended coverage the cheaper it is. Apparently they were just getting my attention by saying my warranty was expiring. I probably would not have called otherwise. I think this comapny is ok. It is like all companies, it depends on who you get a hold of. I talked to a guy named Joe and he was really helpful, seemed sincere. I give this company a thumbs up.
- Mason replies to Dan Frank| 1 replyA VIN is not like your Social Security Number. You can walk by someones car and get their VIN. All a VIN tells anyone is the details of the car itself, what year, how equipped etc.
- Marty replies to BrandonThis site is all about 800's that call, NOT direct mail. Do not judge a company that you know nothing about. As a small business owner I can assure you that their are more good companies out there than bad. I called National Vehicle Headquarters recently when I received a post card. They seemed very professional. I did not buy from them because I can self insure but if I couldn't I would have. They even have a decent rating with the BBB and until you have dealt with them you shouldn't judge anyone. Someone should start a company that rates the BBB.
- Jud replies to Tyrone CampbellTyrone,
I don't think you were scammed, I think you are just plain dumb. All you have to do to get your money back when you purchase and extended warranty is to cancel it. These products are regulated by the state so the company is required to give you 100% of your money back in the first 30 days. Did you call them to cancel it? If you did not and just never made any payments on it then it will cancel for non-payment. Of course when you do that the contract has already been in force for several months so it starts to earn, reducing your refund. - Gabe replies to LisaI called and gave these people my name & bank information and they took the money out of the bank as quickly as they could and of course I later found it was a scam...I cannot find the companies online as you indicated here...can you offer any help. Also of course when I call the number on the little green card I only get put on hold; any advice?
- Dub replies to yellowchev| 5 repliesThis is infact a SCAM, I just called and told them what was this (green card all about). Their response was to "activate your extended warranty"..LOL when my car is just a few months old. I told them that I was going to call my dealer before giving any information and the guy went from really nice to really rude. No more to say. And for those who post messeges as this company being really "professional" and legit, I think they are part of the SCAM staff!!! BE AWARE. NEVER BUT NEVER GIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION UNLESS YOU ARE FOR SURE WHAT YOU ARE DEALING WITH, AND THIS APPLY FOR EVERYTHING. TEACH THIS TO YOUR CHILDREN!!!
- RKN| 1 replyStill getting the green card - mine came in yesterday (12/29/2009). The same number and the same scare tactics.

- Adam| 5 repliesTo those of you who are claiming this is a scam, or fraud, or any number of other negative things, you need to stop being so foolish. The card is just an advertisement, like any other. Like a few others have posted, a VIN number isn't a big secret. It is publicly displayed on EVERY vehicle. Extended Warranties/Service Contracts are legitimate, you just have to find a company that fits your needs.
Stop fear mongering and act your ages. - telemarketers-r-scum replies to Adam| 4 repliesIt walks like SCAM, talks like a SCAM, STINKS like a SCAM, and when the crooks running the SCAM like "Adam" have to come on here to tell us it's not a SCAM, well then we know for sure it's a FILTHY SCAM.
What brings you here "Adam"? What made you look up the phone number on this site in the first place? Only one reason we see posts like yours, YOU WORK THERE and your dubious livelihood depends on keeping the SCAM going as long as possible.
This site must be really cutting into your profits, since you clowns have been busy making a lot of "positive" posts about how this is not a SCAM. But this site is for people to help each other avoid CROOKS like you running FILTHY SCAMS like car warranties. Give us a break will ya? Anyone who doesn't know this is a FILTHY SCAM simply isn't paying attention to the world around them ... and that's what you depend on, isn't it?
Scammers like this are typically into all kinds of other crimes too, if they can steal your identity as well as your money, all the better. Stay away stay far away from this FILTHY SCAM! - Prowling the parking lot? replies to MasonYeah but who does that? I mean besides the people who write you a ticket for parking in the wrong place. LOL
- Adam replies to telemarketers-r-scum| 2 repliesAh, ignorance truly is bliss isn't it? Or maybe not, since you are obviously just another of the countless idiots that make Americans look bad to the rest of the world. Sitting around on your couch with a beer and a bag of doritos, shades covering the windows and phone off the hook because EVERYONE is out to get you.
Why did I come here? Sorry to burst your bubble, but I do not work for this company, nor would I ever. I'm a terrible salesman, thats why I went into IT. Anyways, I came because I too received the card in the mail today, and did a quick google search. I found several occurances of both good and mediocre experiences from actual customers, unlike the fools like you who blindly assume the worst about everyone. I even looked them up with the BBB, and they have a C- rating, which while not exactly good, is FAR from bad. In 36 months, they have had a TOTAL of 23 complaints. Thats it. 23, ALL of which have been resolved.
Lets compare that to US Fidelis. Oh look, 1,291 complaints in the past 36 months. Oh look, an F rating.
You, and the ignorant fools like you, are MORE than welcome to continue thinking the world is just one big scam. Thats your right as an American. Enjoy your lifetime of fear, anger and hatred. Hope it serves you well.
