These "telemarketers" make way more money and benifits than ditch diggers lol not to mention paid vacations and benifits than I bet you do. Have fun at the expence of trashing people making a living rather than living on welfare. It is a very well paying honest job. Not to mention how when you call "customer service" guess who i is fixing your account the overminutes you are crying over having to pay for and the textmessageing you are crying about paying for you love us then!

Ok i understand that, and everything your all saying, it is an automatic dialer so when you get a call it's not like we personally pick to call you to upset you. It's because the dialer calls u and u get routed to whoever it is that you speak to. If you ask to be put on our do not call list, we will put you on ours, if your on the national it doesnt matter because your a customer. So just ask to be put on our do not call list if you don't want to renew or anything, no big deal.

Why don't we answer these calls? Because WE pay for the phone service. If I want to conduct business with you, I will call you. It is my private number. Each time I have to answer a phone call from you you cost me money-you eat up my cell phone minutes and my time. How about I BILL YOU for my cell phone cost and for MY time that you are wasting?!

This Miss Call is actually a Smart advertising tool. Call, Hang up and they will call back.  It's a sweet way to know u r not too busy to hear what the seller needs to sell you.

Man!!! Someone got paid big Bucks for this idea.  My hat goes off to the person with this idea.  I will definitely try this on my next advertising campaign along with spoofing the number. WOW!!!

Isn't it amusing that all these cubicle dwellers seem to think that disturbing our peace so that they can deliver their sales pitch is just fine, however it's not okay for us to come on here and complain about it?

    It doesn't work with me
After acquiring a Verizon cellular telephone I started getting unsolicited calls which I ignored.  Eventually they got tired of this and started text messaging me, which didn't work either because I delete them unread.  Then they started trying to sneak in an occasional call with a local area code.  Fail again.

It took a couple of years, but they finally got the message.  Blissful silence now.

After getting calls from this number almost daily and never having anyone on the other end I stopped answering the calls. Today (after several weeks of not answering) I got another call during the day so I answered wondering if it would be different from the previous nighttime calls... this time someone answered, asking for my son.  I told her he no longer lives here and she appologized and said she'd take our number off their list and if I had any questions for them I could call them back at 18662593833.  Why would I have any questions for them?  Until I read this blog I didn't even know who it was calling because they never identified themselves.  My number is on the Do Not Call registry and this is ridiculously annoying.

You can still be contacted by them even if you are on the National Do Not Call list if you have an existing business relationship with the company. Therefore, if you still do not wish to be contacted by them again, you need to explicitly say "Place me on your Do Not Call list." and allow them to verify the information that they need to do that (usually name and phone number). BTW, it can take up to 30 days for the list to be updated, so be patient in the meantime.

These people are *persistent*.  I don't pick up calls when the ID indicates "Not Provided." Verizon is my cell phone provider and has my # so I don't know why they are calling me on my non-Verizon landline.  But call they do: at least once a day for the last month despite my having registered a complaint with the DNC registry.  What a nuisance!

they call constantly..its a 'scam'they say they are verizon and I dont believe they are. Then they ask and try to get you to give information of personal detials. Most of us have verizon and hear from them reguarding our plan on our bill or mail. DO NOT answer, return the call, speak to,complain because they do not stop or do a damn thing about it.
they have been harrassing my unlisted phone number for months.
I have complained and I have gotton no results from anyone.

I've been getting the same mysterious phone calls. I finally answered today and it was some guy saying he was from Verizon, with what sounded like a very fake southern accent. He claimed my family share plan contract was almost expired, and wanted to know what I was looking for in a new phone. I told him I know my contract, and that I was barely a year into it, and then he tells me my contract had already expired. Yeeeeeah right. Laughed and hung up on his ass.

I got this call and not sure if it is for real.  I was promised a new 2 year agreement with 500 overage minutes and moving to a 700 minutes plan.
