The BBB has no page on them under that name
The address is a UPS store, but another criminal debt collector by the name of Receivable Management Corporation aka RMC is listed at that address with a “suite” number
They are not registered under that name with the Massachusetts Dept. of State or registered as a debt collection agency, which legally preclude them from doing business.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I have no debts.  I keep getting phone calls from this number...  I have not answered

A message on my voice mail about an Amazon purchase of $529.99. It said of I did not make the purchase ,to call Amazon fraud number of 866-267-9342. I did not call.

I got the same message with the same amount of money.  I did not call back.

Got the same call today. Contacted Amazon and they said it is not them

Just received a voice message from this number that was supposedly from Amazon regarding an order that I did not place. 866-276-9342 was the number left on the voice message that's supposed to be for Amazon Billing and Fraud Prevention. In voice message they gave employee ID# 158576, amount of $529.99, order # 06315, for something shipping to Atlanta. Before contacting Amazon I did further research and found information on this site that this number is a scam. Glad I researched it before calling it back.

Just got the same call. Funny that our fraudulent purchases were exactly the same amount.

I got the same message, with the same amount, same order number, and the same day as everyone else. Do not call them as once they have your number they came back your account.

Just got a call from this number regarding the same Amazon message.  Scam.

This also happened to me. I called, rec'd a busy signal. Will not call again.

Just got the same message and amount $ 529.99 on my phone and to call Amazon at the same number as you stated. The call came from an Orange, CA number 714-922-2099. I did not call back, but I did contact Amazon via a different route

That funny I got a call from the same # but it went to spam...said that I had an Amazon order for $562 and if it wasn't me to contact the number 866-267-9342. I have nothing in collections and never have. Total Scam!

I got the same call today (2/25/21). Same message left on my answer machine but MY total was $529.99. I immediately went to my Amazon account that showed "0" purchases. What a shame that there evil people are out there preying on innocent  people who just might fall victim! I Googled the number and saw these messages. Thank God for the Internet!
