A recording told me to call the number back. When I called back a man just said "hello". It was very suspicious, he acted like he didn't know what to say, I just kept asking questions.
Finally he stated that I owed on a cell phone bill and asked when I would be paying it.
I asked the amount and it is more than double the amount of the bill I have outstanding! I told him to go F@&% himself and hung up. If they contact me again I will tell them that I will only deal with them through the mail so I can get more info.

I just got a new cell number last month and they have been calling and leaving the same message every single day. Not just once but sometimes two or three times a day. I finally called them to see what/who they were. This man answers the phone...he wouldn't give me any kind of information..INSTEAD...get this...he starts demanding that i tell him my name and phone number. He was very rude, spoke down to me, demanding personal information from me...to say the least. Also when i asked to speak to someone in charge...his reply was "why, this isn't a customer service call...there is no one to complain to here. I don't have to give you any kind of information...there, how do you like that?" I had to hang up after that.

Who are these people? Obviously NOT professionals! Is there a way to make a complaint about these people? These people are not only violating peoples privacy by calling 'unlisted' numbers and harassing them. Anyone got any ideas? Please post them.

I don't only think Iqor is fraudulent, they are! They call me 8 to 10 times a day, sometimes more. I am retired so I have to listen to their calls (crap) day after day! Their voicemails are always very urgent to call them back. I've done that also and get an automated voice asking me to hold indefineitely. I have their number in the "Stop Calls" setup through the government and hoping that system will work. I will otherwise charge them with harassment if they continue!

I'm going to press charges! Here's all you do: On my phone system I press *57 and it puts me through to our police force or RCMP and they'll trace your calls through the phone company. It's simple and it works! I had harassing calls in the late 90's and had to do that and the police tracked them right down to where they lived! Do it my friend. We have privacy rights,,,,use them.

It's never going to stop, I'm tired of the harassing calls. It's always so important I call them back and I did call twice to get an automated call asking me to hold for the evening. Get a life "Iqor", find another hobby besides harassin peple with fraudulent phone calls.

They call every day leave a message saying it's ICOR Canada and it's important that I call back. I got fed up today and called them back telling them to take my number off their list and if they call again I will take some sort of action as I have already asked my number be taken off the list. Some lady with an accent said "Are you so and so?" I said I have never heard that name before, my number better be removed from your calling list and I have documented each time I have called to make this request. I will take action if it happens again." And she ensured that my number would be taken off the list.
Just be firm. I couldn't handle them calling twice a day everyday any longer.

This number calls me every single day, (except Sundays). Like clockwork I get three to four calls a day. Last week every single hour on the hour for seven straight hours. I will NEVER answer, they do not identify themselves or what the commotion is all about. I too can play phone tag, so go ahead and keep calling, my voicemail is happy to assist those who have something important to say!!! I do not owe anything to anyone so please feel free to keep calling, I look extremely popular in public when I can't stop my phone from ringing off the hook!!!

i also got a call from IQOR from the # above. she claimed that i had an outstanding rogers wireless account from 2006. impossible, since i have never been a rogers wireless customer. when i called her bluff ("is this some kind of scam? should i be calling rogers wireless to confirm that i have never been a customer?") she promptly hung up.

    beware!!!

It started with calls from 866-616-6010 with an automated message saying it was important that I call that number back. I ignored the first 5 calls but then got annoyed and called the number. The person at the other end asked for my phone number and said the person they were looking for was ____________ (name). I told them they had the wrong number and then she said "Ok, sorry about that." The next day, I started receiving calls from 866-294-1752. This automated message actually says the name of the person (same as above). I'll probably call to tell them to stop. If they're collection agencies, they'll realize the person gave a false number (mine) if it's a scam/fraud I'll start looking for other means to stop the phone call madness.

They called twice on my cell phone. Missed the call both times. Called at 1:26PM and 8:26PM. Never left a message. Called them back today and a guy, some Indian guy or something answers and says "Icor Canada, how may I help you"?, and I hung up haha. Looked up the number on 411 and Icor on Google, found this. Hmm. Called back the second time, asked whoever answered the phone who they were and what they want and he was very rude. Called the last time and some woman answered. I didn't say anything and she kept saying hello. Then she stopped saying hello, but never hung up. Maybe they were tracking the number? Hmmm

Each and every single one of us has learned something about our common problems with ICORE CANADA reading these blogs. However, there seems to be no resolution. Has anyone thought about contacting "The Global News Television Corporation" in Toronto to have a reporter investigate this so called company on national television, to have there name dragged thru manure along with their illegal practices and perhaps the government of Canada can put a stop to the illegalities that this company practices on everyday Canadians. Whether any one of us owes money or NOT, it is 101% illegal to harass anyone! These are what we call privacy rights in this country!!! We need to start using them!!!

message left on my home phone early on a saturday morning, "This is Iqor Canada, it is very urgent that you return our call today at 866 294 1752"... i called back and some loser answers telling me that i must be someone named Doug C******... i told the "gentleman" that he had the wrong number, that i was not Doug C... then he gets rude, insisting that I contact Doug C and relay his message... what a joke... these guys are definate bottom feeders...

If these losers are bothering you BY MISTAKE... please go directly to this site
    http://www.crtc.gc.ca/RapidsCCM/Register.asp?lang=E
and follow the steps to email your complaint to the CRTC

If these losers are bothering you BECAUSE YOU OWE one of their clients money (and they already know where you live)... call them back, get their address and send them a "confirmed receipt" letter instructing them that "all future communications with respect to acct ########## MUST be exclusively advanced in written format"... they have to stop calling immediatley... failure to abide by your instructions constitutes harrassment... well worth the $8.76 xpresspost... or even better, the $10.33 to include "signature confirmation"... when they send you letters, just shred & recycle the paper...

hoping the above proves useful... Mike V
